Antother water saving technique i found is when showering , I rinse off well, lather my washcloth with my bar soap, then SHUT OFF my shower for a few minutes. While the shower is off, I scrub my entire body, top to bottom, (hair too), then turn shower back on and rinse. About a minute later, iam done! I figure after keeping the water off for 2 minutes while washing my body, I have saved 5 gal (showerhead is 2.5gpm)..5gal +1.6 gal (from peeing in shower too) is 6.6 gal or abt 78 gallons per month

I shoot straight into the drain, and not all over the place. I started this last year, when I realized that right b4 each shower, I often peed in the toilet anyway, so I said, "why not pee in the shower?" Smart thing to do would be to dig a hole, pee in it, put a cup in a hole, cover the hole with plastic wrap and a stone so the condensation falls into the cup and drink that.
