Hey Bryan. I have a box of these and yes, they are freakin' amazing. I'm having a slight problem with a few sticks and thought you might know. If the humidity in my humidor is too high do you think that would cause Just the wrapper to not burn? I had my humi's at 70 and I'm lowering them to 65 to see if it helps or not. Just wondering. If you have any input please help a brother out.
@SmokingStogie89@SmokingStogie89 Yes that is often the first symptom. The cigars will acclimate humidify from the outside in, so the wrapper is the first to adsorb and the first to release. That's why it's important to let them sit after shipping to even out all the way through.
I just smoked this one in the torpedo. It was really good a lot of leather and oily. I like the cigars that leaves that oil feeling on you lips and tongue. For some reason my burn wasn't sharp like yours. I fixed it once but it kept doing it so I just smoked it as is. Very good over all.
I haven't smoked a cigar in some time. I usually smoke a pipe. I picked up a 4 pack, 2 maduro 2 corojo. I was really impressed by the smooth and silky smoke from the madoro. I really liked the cocoa presence in this cigar. I didn't care so much for the corojo but I was outside working while smoking it. What is the main differnce between the madoro and corojo wrappers, Thanks!
I really like to watch your reviews of various sticks I think I agree with poster about dye when I smoke the vintage92 I often have spots on my lips and hand that I haven't gotten from any other cigars
Apparently it is indeed a common practice. I still have yet to notice anything on my lips or fingers, but even if I did I probably wouldn't care. It doesn't effect the way the sticks smoke. Thanks!
Oh yeah, from what I hear they smoke fine, I just like like dye on my lips and fingers. I'm surprised you haven't reviewed any Tatuaje's yet, amazing cigars.
I liked the more polished look of the Cigar Aficionado Vids but they never actually review a cigar. You get a lot of fluff and 10 seconds of them taking a puff, then a WOW THIS IS A GREAT CIGAR. YEAH, SURE IS DAVE. Not very helpful. All the others I found were pretty bad production quality, or just a bunch of BS talk about all these made up flavors and sound very snobby. Most reviews were just pictures of ash length and irrelevant stuff like that. I wanted to do better so here I am!
what do you think about propylene glycol solutin compared to distilled water
nsanahtee 1 week ago in playlist Rocky Patel Cigar Reviews
@nsanahtee It's only to be used on cheap humidification systems such as foam, and only once. Always refill with water only.
I only suggest systems like beads from Heartfelt.

It tells you the soil and fermentation quality. Whiter and firmer the better

What is the ash color an indication of? Does it seem to be consistent with any factor of burn, smoke output, flavor/strength, etc?

I have not had the opportunity yet, although there are thousands of other's I have not had yet as well...give me time :)
I have never had any dye on anything - and I have not heard of it actually being done before, so not even sure if it's true or not.

Might explain the splotchyness on the 2nd/xouts. They still smoke/taste great regardless!

Great cigar! I've had it several times. Bryan, how did you get started with Cigar Obsession and these videos?

Did you know Rocky dyes his wrappers to make them appear darker? I know he does so on the Edge, Vintage 92, the Winter Series and the Olde World.
