  • I pronounce Kjata "Siatta"

  • Comment removed

  • how are we supposed to tell him where the summon kjata is

  • *Simulate earthquakes and calculates item position by waves*

    *Digs using hands*

    O.o

  • Another lesson to remember in video games, everyone. When you wanna excavate something, use a bomb. It's not like it'll hurt any of the characters.

  • To your left!... there you go! :)

  • i like the boss battle theme wayyyy better then the city of ancient theme

  • The CIty of the Ancients has the best music in any game period.

  • I agree. I love the music at 7:10. So nostalgic, eerie, and it is full of memories for me

  • @hoho12789 You are a homo, its not the graphics that make the game 1 of the best its the Story line that does so think about that next time youre sucking your Bf's dick.

  • @thebirdmaner How does not knowing what a good game is make him a homo?

You're just as fucking retarded as he is. O_o

  • @LuniaVideo well if you had properely functioning human brain and read what he said you'd most likely understand what i meant by my comment.

  • @thebirdmaner I did read it. You're clinically retarded though and you somehow equate homosexuality with stupidity, which is ironic because in essence, by your logic, you're calling yourself a homosexual too.

Silly Americans and their "lol that's gay."

Maybe once you finish puberty you'll look back on this comment and truly see your stupidity. Or maybe not. Some people never finish puberty. :P

  • @LuniaVideo Funny , i still dont understand How im calling myself a homo but ok.

  • @LuniaVideo I agree with you, i've always had finded that "lol that's gay" thingy kinda ridiculous.

  • @LuniaVideo "silly Americans"? Europeans are known to be some of the most hardcore, violent, anti-gay crusaders in the world. from the English Defence League to the anti-gay protests in Serbia, European anti-gay fervor puts Americans to shame. get a clue.

  • @dniceo7 Wrong. Europeans are more laissez-faire in all aspects of life.

The only strict and conservative Europeans are the Russians/Serbs/most Eastern Bloc countries. Everything else is totally, for lack of better word, "chll.

  • @LuniaVideo oh ok buddy, yes they are more laissez-faire than your average redneck Northern Floridian I suppose, but you make awfully specific comments about very large and diverse populations....keep up the good fight, though.

  • @thebirdmaner Dont even bother give that hoho12789 a response, he's trollin at least the last 4 videos or so ^^ i like to use one of my friends comment about what he said:" Good taste is like arms, there is people who has it, and people who doesnt". That hoho-nutcase probably must be one of those kids that amazes only with the shinny thinggy on the TV screen :P just ignore him.

  • @LuniaVideo hey dumb fuck!! been reading the news lately about right wing extremists in Norway, Britain, and the rest of Europe?? remember making the post below??? LMFAO at sheltered idiots like you that spew their misguided bullshit all over the place!!

@dniceo7 Wrong. Europeans are more laissez-faire in all aspects of life.

The only strict and conservative Europeans are the Russians/Serbs/most Eastern Bloc countries. Everything else is totally, for lack of better word, "chll.

  • @dniceo7 Shut the fuck up

  • @dniceo7 What does this have to do with a game about a guy with big sword who fights another guy who wants to destroy the world?

  • @dniceo7 I know I'm responding to your post which was a month ago but are you seriously that bored that you brought an argument back up with someone that you had 3-4 months ago. I don't care who started it but bringing it up after that long is just childish.

  • Funny that all the males in Bone Village are dressed in green, and the females in purple.

  • Ugh, that music brings back, sad, sad memories.

  • thx much ^^

  • The bomb thing actually does make sense, if they can monitor the sound waves. The sound waves are different when they go through hollow ground, where something could be hidden.

  • The Forgotten City has such ambient music. It's great, I love it <3

  • @CTruth23 okay humans are mostly water, and beer is mostly water. therefore i am beer.

  • @Phailure365 May I drink you?

  • @dRevan64 youd have to take me to dinner first

  • @Phailure365 Hrm...

  • Wow all comments about how spelling Kjata , spell it like you want. ^^

    Me it's similar with HCbailly ( Kut-jata )

  • Ok so I don't understand what kjata and death sentence do. Anyone explain?

  • @13revengex Kujata (correct spelling) inflicts Fire/Ice/Lightning/Earth damage, meaning it's useless against anything that absorbs one or more of those elements.

Death Sentence starts a 60 second timer on a single target, causing instant death when it reaches 0, but most enemies are either immune to it or can be easily dispatched with normal damage in that time.

  • @videogamer810 oh. it's name is a typo? Cause Kjata (Kyata) is a pretty cool name. Oh well

  • on this video what is this song called at 6:34 - 8:24

  • Our telling you where the red dot is in the future helped you get in the past - Chrono Trigger style.

  • I absolutely love all the songs in Final Fantasy VII. It's soo original! :D

  • is this for psx or pc?

  • @iceman1166 both but he is using an emulator to play

  • FF7 is the best game in the series

  • The theme for the City of the Ancients is called "You Can Hear The Cry of the Planet" one of my favorite themes in the game

  • can i go back to shinra to get the enemy skill materia?

  • Its there...its there. The red dot dont you see it?

  • dude, both Jenova forms are cannot-lose battles with the water ring and fire ring. All of Jenova's first form attacks are water and the second you fight later is all fire.

  • This sucks i get Aeris's Ultima then she takes off on her own

  • Man I remember Bone Village, I remember finding Cids "Mop" weapon.....good times

  • I think it's pronounced Ky-ata... :P

    But I don't know... XD

  • or you could use trine cause water element monsters are weak to lightning

  • @CyberMetalOverlord thats pokemon:P

  • and also where did you get all the equipment and materia

  • he just says if i want to buy something please help

  • I love this music..

    Somebody should totally remake it.

  • @jaythreetfb The Black Mages have redone all FF music

  • @jaythreetfb Someone did. type in final fantasy 7 remaster.

  • MUSIC HERE IS AWESOME!!!

  • Thank U Mr.HCBailly! I lost a loot of money doing this &*%&*) excavation! I finally found the lunar harp. Thank u xD

  • wuuuuujuuuuuuuuuuuuuu you ir my god boy thanks, THANKS KID

  • at 5:30 there's a vine to the right of the screen that leads up to a cave of some sort. does anyone know how to get up there?

  • Can someone help me get the Laser Enemy Skill pls???

  • @tekatesiete You can get it from the Deatth Claw enemies in Corel Prison.

LOL each time HC fast forwards I start to lol

  • Trine is really the way to go in this area. Its more economical than Beta.

  • Alright! Go lefties!

  • Yes, and proud of it.

  • So true.

  • When I talk to the guy that tells you dig all he says is "Do you want to buy somthing?" and all he does is say that like an asshat.

  • that's hard right there

  • where do u get the sprint shoe

  • item you can win at chocobo races rank "S"

  • yo man thanks i was stuck in that part that s why i like you tube

  • Just to let you know you can get the Kjata materia as soon as you have the tiny bronco

  • i think cloud crosses himself when he does magic. please correct if wrong.

  • -_-

    hmmm

    That actually makes sense...

  • Every time I go to start digging, the guy just asks if I want to buy something

    Im stuck!

  • in mine the same :( .plz tell me if you find out what to do

  • i found what you sould do: you mast find the keestone and go to the temple of ancient

  • i love the battle music for this game

  • is Cid left-handed?

  • a harp used to awake a forest is like when a harp is used to destroy a barrier that prevented your party from using metal weapons

  • It wasn't actually the harp that broke the barrier, it was the sonmg that distracted the one maintaining the barrier.

  • hay they actually do that sound thing in rl, ever see Jurassic park?

  • but that maybe an older way of doing it

  • I think the music for that area that you like is called "You can hear the cry of the planet"

  • Stay away from Aqualung? But its a great song!!! (sorry had to do the Jethro Tull reference)

  • there is one enemy up ahead that i absolutly HATE...the Hungrys that use mini then eat u...

  • Kjata = KYA-ta (FYI)

  • The music is SOOOOOO sooo soooOOOO awesome!

  • i've just reached this place and i've got Omnislash!!!

  • I remember that this is where I stopped playing for some reason. I don't remember; it's been about 8 or 9 years since I've even looked at this game.

  • You missed out then :p. It is true although, there are times in most final fantasy games, where it drags on a bit much and you lose interest was that what happened to you?

  • Sort of. That and I was young and really bad at RPGs. I used to run from every battle, so I didn't have very much exp. or gil, so I wasn't able to spend on the digs and stuff. I put the disc up and started on Legend of Dragoon.

  • Legend of Dragoon was equally epic. That is a definate blast from the past. I know of a lot of people who thought that game sucked though.

  • I love that game! Next to the Final Fantasy games, I'd say it's my favorite! I LOVE the plotline! lol

  • love your commentary : D

  • i was looking for that when you entered that place. one of the only things i remember to get every time

  • the lunar harp never never changed locations and i usually look where the smoke comes out of the chimney.

  • Kjata's one of the best summons i think as its all 3 elements put together........

  • Fire, Ice, Lightning and Earth. Sadly almost every time I use it the enemy absorbs it.

  • I belive you would pronounce Kjata as "Kya-ta" (the 'j' is silent).

  • The over world view looks so strange right after you leave the forest.

  • That song played in the sleeping forest('Chasing after the black-caped man' or whatever it is called) sounds a lot like 'Cry in Sorrow' from IV.

    I like them both.

  • the lunar hope teleports you to the ancients village and summons the lunar whale

  • The City of the Ancients in general is one of the coolest regions of the game due its creepiness. It's so big and eerily abandoned. So abandoned, you don't even face any encounters in the City proper!

  • Never knew that Kjata was even there!

  • Theres a red dot on screen? I cant even see it

  • Kjuta is my least favourite of the summons

  • for all the years of play this game this part all ways stop me from doing a quick run

  • its close to the end a little to the left

  • Is it possible to do anything with thse orbs that Cloud says are the words of the ancients?

  • yea, this is the only FF he's in.

  • The music in the City of the Ancients is creepy, yes..it really unnerved me at first. The architecture is also bizarre; the whole atmosphere is unsettling right now.

  • I found Kjata on my first playthrough, could never forget that name!

  • I don't remember ever seeing Kjata in other FFs though. Is this the only one it shows up in?

  • As far as I know, yep.

  • Another great vid HC thanks!!!

  • KILL Sephiroth HC

  • next episode should be very good, wonder how hc's gonna react lol.

  • lololololololol, hcbailly: "HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAYYYYYYY!!!!!! WE GOT IT ON The first try" ahahhaha - so enthusiastic.

  • What was the purpose of the Lunar Harp? Like, how does it affect the forest?

  • Nice website, didn't realize you can get teh W-ITEM materia if you missed it in the 2nd trip to Midgar.

  • That stinks that Katja can't block multiple elements when linked, oh well. BTW what do you get at the Fort Condor Battle?

  • 5 X-Potions.

  • Can't wait till tommorow's episode. Keep up the good work HC. XD

  • I guess the whole "underwater" feel to the Coral Valley and the City of the Ancients coincides well with the elements of a good deal of the enemies (including the upcoming boss fight).

  • Not sure if this is a personal question or not, answer or don't but I couldn't help but asking--

What time of the day do you usually make your videos and edit them? Morning, after work? ^~^ Oh, and have a good day.

Great video, as always. =] But I like saying that over and over again.

  • I hope you got that "death sentence" enemy skill. I didn't see that box that says you learned it.

  • He got it in a previous episode.

  • I really enjoyed this episode! And thanks for listing the Enemy Skills.

I was just thinking how awesome the music was when you mentioned it. IMHO It's one of the best next to Aerith's Theme. And One-Winged Angel :D

  • In fact the upcoming boss using nothing but water-based attacks. Even this one that clearly resembles fire is water-elemental.

If everyone's guarded against water somehow (and nobody casts reflectable spells) consider yourself literally invincible.

  • I bet Aeris used Teleport to get here.

  • I kind of stumbled on to it by accident when I was roaming around. I think I was roaming around for treasure and I'm like where the heck did this come from o.o

Also I believe you need at least one or maybe even no guys for the excavation. They are there to just help point out the treasure.

And I am hoping for a really good episode tomorrow XD

  • Was it just me or did that music while in the city of the ancients sound a little like that music while in the keyblade chamber in kingdom hearts?

  • i like how death sentence still counts down even when your casting and even during the animation

  • Yes, the most broken, annoying minigame in FFVII.

  • You literally need to know ahead of time where the items are, or you'll spend hours there.

  • I never found the Midgar key. I think I did spend hours there, too.

  • You don't have to do all 5 if you don't want to..you can say "Done" instead of ordering a search.

  • Did anyone else notice that for some reason there was no actual indication that he learned Death Sentence after it was cast on Red XIII? For some strange reason they didn't display that message. Maybe it's a glitch? Or maybe the materia actually wasn't on Red, and HCBailly made a mistake. =P

  • He learned the skill in a previous episode.

  • Oh, so it only displays the first time an Enemy Skill materia gets it, and if you later learn it on another Enemy Skill materia, no messag will be displayed? I see.

  • sprint shoes seems to have different function in this game than FF VI, does it? Sleeping Forest music sounds serene. Kjada? That's the first time hearing that "sommon beast". City of Ancient music does sounds creepy.

  • The Sprint Shoes in FF6 give you the Dash ability. The Running Shoes in FF5-6 are the equivalent of the Sprint Shoes in FF7.

  • digging took me forever to find the lunar harp

  • The game writers knew their bioclimatology...the Sleeping Forest appears on the map to be grayer than the more temperate forests to the south, indicating that it's a coniferous taiga area. I always thought that the City of the Ancients looked a little like you were just approaching the icy wasteland; the rocks are barren and cold looking.

  • Even Bone Village and the surrounding area is like that. This is the northern part of the planet, so things are gonna get a hell of a lot colder. But what is interesting is that both the City of the Ancients and the Coral Valley look like, as the name of the second one implies, a coral reef. It's scenery that you'd expect to find underwater, not in the cold north on land. It's also interesting that this game has a "Coral Valley" AND a "Mt. Corel". =P

  • Hmmm...I'd say for some reason Bone Village seems a lot like Alaska. Yeah the underwater scenery seems a bit unusual for a sub-polar valley climate.

I would guess that this area is covered with snow from about October 15 until sometime in May, maybe even early June. Then an abrupt but short summer, and Cloud's party is arriving right at the end of summer.

  • Getting closer, getting closer.

The end of Disk 1 is near.

  • I find it funny that your brother didn't believe you found Kjata there in the Sleeping Forest. The first time I played it I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me or something.

  • *Points* I found it!

  • 4:34 on the right side.

  • Oh god. These 10 minutes get shorter every episode.

Please, try to upload the next episode earlier.

  • regarding fort condor do you really have to fight any of them except the first and the last? I don't think I ever fought more then 3

  • Only if you're as much of a completionist as I am. :)

  • I only ever fought the one that was mandatory for the story.

  • Must... not... spoiler... thinks...

    Also, awesome Lets Play 5/5

  • and no you cant go back to the cave of gi, its locked

  • hmm i had no idea you could get the Phoenix summon here, then again, i felt as if it were impossible to miss.

  • wow one of the first video w/o any1 saying first. Nice vid btw

  • Couldn't you do less than five by just choosing Done instead of Order a Search?

  • This is one of my favorite parts of the game. The music is great and its right when the story really picks up.

  • Listen to the Cries of the Planet was one of my favorite themes of the game!

  • This Let's Play-serie is actually the reason I picked up the game again to go through it again. I have to say, I only now see the usefullness of the various Sources (for example Guard Source), I never used them before.

  • Why was this unavailable for like half an hour?

    Made me a sad panda...

  • when digging, you can tell them "done" to go ahead and have them use the explosives if you don't want to hire 5 people for the dig.

  • Nope, you can't go back to the Cave of Gi. And actually, there wasn't any text showing Red (actually materia) learning Death Sentence, so you better double check your materia's again.

BTW, one touchy cutscene coming up. A minor sugestion about it, whatever you do Bailly, don't cry, stay silent, and let people enjoy the whole scene... please.

  • Oh no, I know what you're talking about.. *sigh*

    I wish i didn't :'(

  • I was actually planning on being silent for the cinematics, so that everyone could feel the full impact of it.

  • Well, that was a lot of explaining for a very quick process. Still, couldn't they get away with just using three diggers? I mean, it seems easier to triangulate the position without the two extraneous diggers possibly throwing you off. Oh well, I learned long ago not to question video game logic.
