@SASJKL Both terms, big band and jazz, are generic enough in use that one is easily also the other. However, when speaking of music in terms of an era, the Big Band Era was generally thought to run from about 1935 to 1955 at which point many music critics see the Rock & Roll Era beginning. The word "jazz" is very broad and embraces many kinds of music including the song posted here.
