As I was watching this I was humming the the first track in the LeMans movie after the race start. Anyone who has seen that movie knows the tune I'm on about.

The 512S would beat the Lola easily in real terms. That car was capable of competing with the Porsche 917 and was very fast. Only it's overall weight killed it's real potential and just a pity the 512M model came about after the 917 dominated the scene..
