  • 2:38 was so funny he got sacryd

  • For how long do they wait for the second cookie, do you know? :)

  • We didn't do this as a scientific experiment, but to illustrate a teaching point during a church service, so we just let it play out for however long it took to see what the kids would do. Usually somewhere around 5 minutes.

  • 10x :)

  • the orignial version of this is the marshmellow experiment, done in the 80s. It is an experiment about delayed gratification and the correct age for children to take part in this experiment is 2-4 yrs old. So many of these children are probably a little too old.

  • i think 4years old... i heard that on the marshmallow experiment

  • ha ha the asian kid got such a fright his cookie almost fell through the window..n then...I DONT LIKE COOKIES.respect

  • Very cute! Curious to know what the average wait time was.

  • the asian kid at 2:24 was hilarious

  • Nice vid. It really shows how self-control and the knowledge of future consequences doesn't really develop until the later years. For other kids a future prize is more tempting than a current pleasure. Great test!
