I love this! And whether or not RTD intended to imply that the characters are gay doesn't really matter - the sub text is there if you want to see it, and if you don't you can simply ignore. I personally had never thought of them that way until the first telephone conversation scene, and it hit me as suddenly obvious.

I love Simm's Master and his openly stating that he'd love to reprise the role for Matt Smith's Doctor filled me with joy - c'mon Mr Moffat - what are you waiting for?!?

I heard that he was leaving after/ or on the Christmas episode because we've seen picture sof him filming the Christmas Special and also if Tennant were not to do the specials in 2009 then it would give a chance for the new actor to get his teeth into the part. Personally, i'm torn between whether David should leave because i think its time for a change but david was born to play the doctor!
