  • This is my first time seeing a four line kite in action and I am in complete awe...TRULY EPIC!!!!! both in what this kite is capable of and the art form you have taken it to. Thank you for sharing this!

  • @B00MRR : Thanks a lot, it's great fun to fly and actually much easier than it looks... Obviously it takes time to really master, but we do clinics worldwide to teach, plus the Rev community is SUPER friendly and helpful - there are fliers pretty much everywhere. ;)

  • i am off the the berkeley (ca) kite festival. i have a dual line but would like to learn how to fly these quad line kites! where was this video taken? beautiful area!

  • @kishanabear : The video was taken at D-River Wayside in Lincoln City, OR... Also, you can find a lot of instructional video at learnkitesDOTcom. ;)

  • John is that 3 wrap frame the same that comes with a Rev EXP? I just ordered a B Series Mid vent and I already have an EXP...Kinda curious...rev forums seem to say they are...

  • @Dot2Kode : Correct, identical spars... 3 wrap... EXP rods are all-black (unlabeled), the usual 3 wrap rods have "Ultra Light" or three feather icons on a silver or gold label... Otherwise the same. ;)

  • Great video. Picked up my 1st Rev B Series last week am liking it a lot.

  • amazing ,,me just getting a 1.5 sle i can only dream of doing this !!!! first flight is on my account !!!

  • Just about perfect conditions, maybe 8mph.

Some of my favored maneuvers in this video:

    1. Tip drag on water, in reverse, difficult direction to do it. ( 0:17 )

    2. Landing on both tips at the same time, from any entry. ( 0:30 )

    3. Traveling bicycle rotations, R-L and L-R. ( 0:43 )

    4. Walking on water, 'nuff said. ( 1:43 )

    5. Fast bicycle rotations, right above the water. ( 2:27 )

    6. *Snap 45* landings on water's surface. ( 2:34 )

  • 7. Long tip drags across the water. ( 3:45 )

    8. Landing in and riding the water flow. ( 4:28 )

    9. Playing, interacting with dogs. ( 4:54 )

    10. Landing on walls and ceilings. ( 5:29 )

    11. Long reverse flight sequences. ( 6:48 )

    12. Flic flacs, direct out of a maneuver. ( 6:59 )

    13. One-handed bicycle rotations. ( 7:07 )

    14. Playing, interacting with kids. ( 7:20 )

    15. *Waterwheel* bicycle rotations, using water flow. ( 7:55 )

    16. Quick, tips-down land and launch on water. ( 8:23 )

  • 3:54 is really cool

  • It is like a water mill. Landing on the wall is cool!

  • OMG!!! Too much to take in in just one viewing.....
