I liked it and felt it was at least worth a save to the favorites. I have to agree the music matches maybe the first half of FFVII AV but the editing was rather good.

Another thing about it that got me was the ending. You started the AMV strong but it seemed to end very weakly. Not a surprise really considering it's hard to make and ending for songs that come from games, most of them are orchestrated to be able to be played on and on into perpetuity.

This video is pretty ancient now, but I agree with you pretty hardcore. I think the problem was how long the song was and using footage that maximized climactic potential - Advent Children is such a rhythmic feast for the eyes as it is. I feel like I should have "saved" more? It's an old video, but the crit is valued and I keep it in mind.

yeah man don't mention it. I got into AMVs back in like high school when I got my first ripper to get the footage. They're a labor of love and hard to produce well in a lot of cases. Need to see about getting back to it, though I've seen channels brought down because of them.

I love this song and this video. You put a perfect dark song to a tale of Final Fantasy that goes so well. The Tale of FFVII is already dark and you made it even more dark. FFVII is the only FF game i know of that contains death of a well loved character and the torment that tears Cloud up inside. Dark and full of sadness and anger. It's good, but then again, Advent Children isn't realy dark enough for this type of song.. Were as with Silent Hill, it's a different story.

Thanks for the comment. I'm not defending my music video in the sense that OMG ITS PERFECT HOW DAR U, but rather that if the editing's good, then the content the footage is based around shouldn't matter. Obviously I need to work a little harder to make it matter less to you next time :3.

i disagree, it may not seem dark in the gorey sence. But over all final fantasys reflect alot of emotional torment especially FF:7 whihc in its own way is dark. SO i think it goes perfectly.

I felt the start though better at keeping to the beat felt a bit disjointed

I preffered the slightly more linear

the clips earlier felt un-related where as the fights worked well
