@spilpilz not really, if you are a beginner you might want a skate with a little bit more support and a little bit less flex, like razors skates or USD skates (besides the carbons)

I'm wanting to start up inline skating again after taking a 14 year break. I know that my K2 fattys and Razor flats don't really compare to some of the newer skates on the market. I really like the look of the REMZ. I've seen a pair of REMZ (07two) going cheap. Can someone please tell me if there is much difference between the REMZ 0702 and the REMZ HR 1.1. apart from the colour.

@BradXXXBartender I've been skating off and on since 1995 so I know where you're comin from. Arlo isn't really around much other than commentating some contests and Senate is doing so well. I remember when Senate as king! I used to skate the shit out of K2's and I skate Remz now and love them. If you want the flex of K2 but support of Razors I would take a look at the Remz OS series. That's what I'm skating now, they have good flex but also provide good support.

@BradXXXBartender the skin on the hr1.1 is a lot stronger then the one on the 0702, so they wount tear and rip as easyly, also the liner is a lot different as far as it goes for v-cutting the liner its a lot simpler to do,and i has a better shock absorber, and a lot more padding,overall id say the hrs are probably more comfortable as well, but still the 0702s are still pretty sick skates
