  • Actually, I heard that Laurie had a great time on Norm. The show was on for three years. Plus, it's the second time that she got to work with Norm MacDonald. Norm wrote a couple of Roseanne episodes. And he wanted for Laurie to be on his show because he thought that she was a great comedic actress. Where did you read that she had a bad time? She was on that show for three seasons.

  • Laurie herself never admitted it out loud and yes, she did like Norm and at first had a good time, but toward the end, her anxiety set in and she was dealing with a lot of issues at the time.

  • Poor Laurie, she was so homesick for the set of *Roseanne*; this was the start of a difficult time in her life and I've read that she had a rough time on the set of *Norm*.

  • Did something happen to her? She seems so likeable.

I know she is highly regarded in theatre circles, one of the Steppenwolf people (if not founders).

  • Several things happened to her, I'm not sure what, but I suspect she's too embarrassed to discuss it anyway. Yes, Laurie is extremely likeable & very sweet. It was some of the other castmates of *Norm* that were not so sweet or likeable.

She certainly is highly respected & yes, she is one of the Steppenwolf founders.

Laurie's extremely gifted. I understand she's one of the nicest people in show biz. That's a large part of why Hollywood burned her out...she couldn't stand the backbiting.
