if uve had speed wobble enough youll relize that you can correct it. tightening your trucks helps but if you learn to correct it without over correcting youll be fine. also if you get scared then it will happen for sure. 90% of longboarding is mental. ps welcome to the family

lean forward, get in a speed tuck tighten your trucks and/or get a craddled deck

also alot of times if u look farther ahead instead of near in front of u it helps alot. the smaller u are the the less wind resistance and instability u will get.

Ya but head towards Blane Lake and just before you get to the north Saskatchewan there is what feels like a couple of miles of pure downhill asphalt on both sides of the river! Did it on a Chief Haida Landyatch what a rush!!!

What do you mean Longboarding isnt big in BC like mentioned before its pretty big there. Im in Regina Sask and ther are a bit of longboarders. Is there any good Canada Longboard site... Thinking about getting into it just for the Carving aspect. Regina is reaaaaaaaaally flat (praries)

u need slide gloves..they have pucks on them that reduce friction between ur hand and the pavement which allows them to slide...garden gloves would not work...

Yes you do,most people avoid buying them because they're so exspensive. Garden gloves would work but thats only if you modify them a bit. You'll need flexible cutting board to put on in place of the pucks.. Not too sure about it but that's what I've been told.

yeah thats what i use. just take some cutting board, and take a flame torch to it to melt the plastic. then put it on the glove, and it sticks for a looonnng time. you can try other kinds of plastic too, but i suggest cutting board. any gloves work, but make sure theyre made out of leather

It's in the parking garage behind 160 elgin, make sure you dont go there before 11:30, We've never run into security but that's because we've never go there before 11:30
