Absolutely yes. Maybe i am far beyond insolent for thinking i can even interpret an atom of his genious, but i don`t care, he would have chosen this music, i am sure of that. The notes goes along with light just in the way the roses of the heliogabalus flows in the wind.
Beautiful video. I love his works. It is so beautiful. I have two posters of his works. I have of The Roses of Heliogabalus and A Coign of Vantage. I he is my second favorite artist after Monet. I love the music you chose too. Thanks for posting the video.
Yes it was a different period but I love to listen to Chopin when I am looking at Monet and Chopin died in 1849 and Monet became famous like in the 1870's. It is just nice to listen to the music and art that matches together.
Wheresthesea, since we have in commmon about art I just posted my first video of two artist named Francois Boucher & Jean-Honore Fragonard. They were painters from the 18th century. It may not be really too good because a lot of the paintings are repeated over again because I don't know how to cut most of the music off. Anyway you can go to my profile and see it. I hope you enjoy it!!!!
Beautiful video. He is one of my favorite artist. I have a poster of the one with the girls looking down the sea, my favorite paintings by him. Beautiful video.
My Favorite artist. Sir Lawrence Alma Tadema. There are good websites about him. Some of his originals are at the Getty Museum in LA. And in Hamburg, Germany. I was lucky to see them in person.
What a master of figure and light. I'm ashamed to admit that I've never heard of him so thanks for educating me. I'm off to look him up and see if he's post pre-raphaelite.
Yes I hadn't heard of him either until I found a book of his art in a shop. He was Dutch 1839-1912. I like his use of light, with the marble and the material of the clothes.
