Rossi raced karts at national championship level when he was young, and was going to go furthur but moved to minimoto as it was less expensive to compete in.

Check out Vale's many other exploits on 4 wheels including Ferrari F1 and WRC rally cars (12th in Rally GB 2008, Rally New Zealand and Rally Monza). Plus don't forget he was a kart racer as a youngster. Vale could probably beat anyone other than the world's very best car drivers. He just knows fast.

Rossi is a brilliant rider .......... in my opinion the only people that could compare now are Giacomo Agostini and Mike Hailwood ................ but ............... Rossi would not beat Eddie Lawson in a superkart.

Lawson has been racing superkarts off and on for a while now and he is quick. Granted, he has the best gear but he still drives it really well.

Rossi is good ......... but in a superkart Lawson would be better ................ and yes im a big Rossi fan.

Lawson drove around doing parade laps with the others. Rossi went as quick as he could. Lawson has lapped Laguna much quicker than that. Stick to commenting on things you know something about because on this subject your out of your depth friend.
