  • @retro gazele .... Not sure why they dyno tuned the v- tec so high? But it runs great . Many people on here claim it doesn't ( sound) like it's taken over 9000 rpms . Lol I don't know how anyone can tell unless ur in the car looking at the tach lol anyways.... This car is painted Gold / w RPF1's on it . It's been at Fontana , irwindale , in LA to Inland empire & even ran many people on the streets.... Few people on you tube know this car .... Jakespec , Whitfield , John Whatley , Eugene of Pro

  • @hola180.... This car is a daily driver ! The only thing is to get used to the throttle response when you take off at a signal .. Very touchy ! But other than that I've driven this hauling ass up to las Vegas & back ! Take it to work ( everyday ) , take it to the track ..... No problems.

  • @lilcow418.... Check out Whitfield racing in upland ca . My understanding is they own the jigs now to this header . I'm sure Jason Whitfield will put one together for you .

  • @ RnB123100.... Your comment that the louder the V-Tec the less precision? Ummm? Interesting theory .... A few REASONS WHY V-Tec is loud on my car.... (1) individual throttle bodies ARE louder when it engages .(2) I have a magna flow resonator & a magna flow muffler .(3) JUN 3 cams (4) A&R header echos a bit . Put this together & it will be loud in your car also . Try it .

  • Its not true. There are cams which offer an aggressive cross over, for example toda b cams, skunker tuner series, and now im assuming jun 3 cams. How ever there are cams such as the toda vtec killers, or skunk pro series which offer a seamless cross over. My h22a4 hits vtec hard.

  • That's a A&R drag header. It's been ceramic coated & heat wrapped on the outside, extrude honed on the inside.

  • 8000rpm??ur all trippin!! When this was tuned I could of gave a rats ass if it blew up cause all I would of done was built another the same day. My two step is set @ 8200 , my shift light is @ 8900.@this momment I stuffed the motor back in (painted car) I'm just tryin to figure who's going 2 tune it? Church, Ericks racing or Bisimoto? Whoever is good @ ITB'S? Ur more than welcome to be there.

  • @etimebomb not trying to start shit but why would you have your 2 step at 8200 and i know it sounds sick cause i love the sound of but really should be used for turbo cars its a fast launch control if anything considering it N/A you should use jusrt a standard launch control but sick car love it and yet again not trying to start anything just curious

  • NA hondas with big cams or cammed in general usually put out that kind of noise. my friends H2B making 296whp all motor on pump gas does the same thing and the valvetrain is perfect.

  • one of the reasons why there's no intake is cause im using ITB'S . another is since i started using this header my vtec seems to sound a lil more aggressive.

  • the silver canister is a custom made vacuum can by Jason Whitfield. it really made a difference at mid-range

  • yea talk the talk my pile of junk is made in japan what type of header is that Ill let you run my b20vtec ef hatch when its ready so Ill give you a few months to prepare and for your own sake try to get it up to at least 8500 lol maybe some race gas or nitrous cuz the way that runs now its not going to happen

  • B20/Vtec are unreliable and have weak ass top end HP.

  • okay? first thing its not a b20, its a b18....yup..just a b18.ive been driving this set up everyday for 3 yrs in traffic an has beat the shit out of it & with 90,000 miles on it it still reads over 310 across all 4 cylinders (compression test) its on pump gas @ 13:1 compression. its very reliable.
