Kirk Hammett is probably a nice guy, but he is also the most overrated guitarist in heavy metal history. Mustaine's solos are so much more badass and metal than his. They're also 20x harder. Take a look at the last solo on "Looking Down The Cross", Dave's solo on "My Last Words", and Dave's solos on "Bad Omen" (studio version of solos). They're INSANE! And for all of the Metallica fanboys out there, don't even get me started on Chris Poland and Marty Friedman.
