I just can make it to 41 flags, but how come you... I always scared of that damn Jack box zombie... How can you pass it?? I mean like it will spoil your plants and how about Gargantuars?? one suggestion, you dont need the gold magnetshrooms, you have $450,000+ i think putting umbrella plants there would help you more because the bungees where taking your gloom shrooms and that seemed to be hurting you more then you want

why do u have ur umbrella plants right in the corner? obv they defend 3 x 3 around them. also wouldnt u switch places with ur sunflowers and 2 ice melons? as in if you swapped them so that the melons were on the inside lane closest to the pool, they would hit more zombies?

so i tried, I was screwed up in the 50th flag....

I forgot to pack up some cherry bombs and jalapenos..

You should not use cattails because when the balloon zombies fly over the cob cannons and your cattail pop them and they land on your cob cannon eating them to death

How do you deal with jack in box zombies when the blow up and destory your water plants when they come on screen? Only thing that gets me with this. Died at 80 cause of it.

jack in box wont appear on the water lanes, that's why we leave the first two columns of grass lanes empty, if jack in box touches anything you plant beside the water lane, it explodes, killing your water plants

I guess this set-up is nice, but I think It's quite risky since the four cobs which are not on the pool are very vulnerable to zombies but I guess with 8 available cob cannons to fire giga-gargantuars would be a piece of cake.

Spend the first few waves building mass sunflowers. Stockpile up to 10k, then start replacing them with other things.

are the cattails really that useful? i understand the magnets since you're too busy with cob cannons to pick up coins, but wouldn't replacing the cattails with wintermelons potentially mean you don't have to rebuild the front layers of gloom shrooms as often?

i've played with this setup to 250, and i wud say that it has happened a few times. cattails, even at 2, don't catch all the balloons before they land on the outer lanes. do this a few times and a cob will fall. the great thing abt this setup tho is that its very resilient to failure. a freeze + cherry usually gives me enough time to get back up and bombing. cheers :)

If I'm not mistaken, Cattails would hit first the balloon zombies before anything else. So if you have the cattails on your line-up, balloon zombies would not be a big threat to you.

If you want the best setup, you should remove the gold magnets. Afterwards, replace it with ice-shroom. If the fight gets really messy, it could buy you some time.

Gloom shrooms don't waste space. They can deal with both imps and diggers (they can shoot in the surrounding area, not just in one direction). Spikerocks only work against diggers, they can't deal with imps.

my set up is cobless and im in flag 86 and not dead yet.. =) i like cobs but they dnt seem to work for me.. they always get eaten by back up dancers and football zombies that get passed the cob explosions.. hope i can make it this far.. how many days have u been playing this survival?

actually it s not a big a deal to reach lv 1000ish, if your setup can get you to flag 100ish , it probably can last forever , after that it s just a matter of patience :)

I imagine that you would get more splash damage/freezing in those lanes (melons in lane 2 could slow down those in 1,2,3 & melons in lane 5 could get 4,5,6).

@LouisLeGros:indeed, more wintermelons in the inner lane could produce more splash damage in all lanes, but the splash damage is actually very small and quite *useless* when you have cob cannons running bomb rounds every wave.

And dont forget, the pool shrooms can take quite good care of the inner lane. =D

The damage from the 2 wintermelons in the outer lane helps holding the line cuz they are not as well protected.

I thought I had found the perfect setup for endless. I placed 4 gloom-shrooms on the water, then 4 on the lawn, with a winter-melon as last and spikerocks in case something goes wrong. Giga gargantuas went down like pussies confronted with this.

But in the end, it was defeated at flag 42 by those damn jack-in-the-box zombies. Because I had pushed all the damage-plants on the outer lanes back they kept exploding and destroyed the gloom-shrooms. In the end I ran out of sun...
