i can run crysis on medium textures high physics and everything else low at ~20-30fps on a 2.4ghz p4 and a geforce 6200. so you can if you have a 10 times better pc

I don't know. My PC is bottlenecking. I have a 2003 Dell with a 2.2 GHz Athlon 64 Processor rated at 3.4 GHz with 1 GB or Ram and a GeFore 7900 GS, and I can barely run CS:S at 60 FPS. It's fucked. And yes I have bought the best powersupply out there, a Corsair 5** watt. I'm just going to wait for a new rig and install the PSU and GPU into it, hopefully then I could play decently.

the bottleneck is the amd/nvidia combo. if you want to allieviate it, get a pc with an intel/nvidia or amd/ati combo and it will run very fast.
