The actual readings are low right now in Tokyo in some places, but higher in others, and especially when it rains. When the winds turn south (round about now) Tokyo will get a lot more radiation from the continually-spewing reactors (remember 3 are in melt-through). Soil, fish, water, tea, milk and soon rice are already contaminated. (The water has Cesium in it). So, live in Tokyo by all means, but what do you eat or drink?
