AP's vision outmatches Johnson's, and his explosiveness through the hole and the ability to break tackles all night makes him such a better HB than Chris Johnson. I would love to see Johnson run right into a linebacker, truck him, then proceed to run for a 50+ yard TD.

2. most ap fans never say this on the comments which i am surprised about, but in 2008 ap ran for 1,760 yds. that is 240yds away from 2,000. i dont know about yall but that is basically 2,000yds in my book. so with those two facts i agree with ap bieng #1. but i still dont think that cj2k gets the respect from anyone that he deserves, not even his own coach or team management.

1. 2010 season ap had 1 fumble, which is way better than his other seasons where he averaged i think about 5 per season. this shows he has improved on his ball carrying when running and has increased his awareness of the other players around him when he is running. less fumbles for ap = more yds

3. the nfl has been around for i think 60yrs, and in 60yrs only 8 people (including cj2k), 8 people!!!!! have rushed for 2000yds or more in a single season. are you kidding me, do you guys know how hard it is to rush for that many yds in one season. CJ2K DID IT IN HIS 2ND YEAR!!! and on top of that he told every nfl team that he was gonna do it before the season even started. thank about that guys. ps- im a pats fan so i dont really care, but i dont think cj2k gets enough respect.

@jamal2021 AP is more than just a powerback. he's got speed and agility too. he's a good combination of everything. there may be a running back he's faster (CJ) or a running back who's stronger (Turner, Marion Barber, Ray Rice), but none of them have a good combination of the two like Adrian.

@merleage2 Statistically they are around the same in rushing categories, except AP is destroying him according to TD's. CJ has a hell of a lot more receiving yards though, but that is only because the Vikings barely pass to running backs, they stick to more of a West coast offense of short routes and Tight End sets in passing. Honestly, CJ2K had about 40 more rushing yds than AP this year, but he had 40+ more carries (AP didn't play all 16 games like CJ did.).

AP has definitely changed his running style. He came into the league as a back he used mostly speed with a touch of power. Now he seems significantly bigger and slightly slower, but I prefer this AP. He's just a TD machine. He's so powerful. You just can't keep him out of the endzone.

The stronger part is a given because of evolution but ACTUALLY walter paytons era was on average faster than this era is, simply because that was the time they started bringing in track runners to football at receiver and such
