Ppl. keep focusing on the wrong things in the JFK. Garrison knew this. He just wanted to make the public aware. All you have to do to insure the assin. of any public figure is relax security. And that is exactly what happened in Dallas to JFK. You do that enough times ....esp. in the South. Someone is going to take a shot. Nuts are all over the place. @translationwiz no it wasnt... u cant say something like that without researching it. look at his motorcades through london a month before or through any US city. ill bet you its not anything close to what is was like in dallas. this case is weird enough without oswald body doubles and look alikes. but we have to ask ourselves was a major plot or violent overthrow of our government accomplished 11-22-63? who benefited, who had the power to cover it up and who encouraged it?

Sorry, everyone it was not the Russians! The same day my unit was sent to Bosnia our Range N.C.O. who was involved in the "Florida Cuban Community" told us quite openly it was a CIA revenge for the Bay of Pigs fiasco- apparently JFK was hesitant to allow air support for the failing invasion forces and THIS was his true undoing....

This is a pretty fascinating Cold War time capsule. Once the American public first came to grips with the likelihood of a second assassin, we went straight to those darn Red Commies as the likely culprits! Nowadays, we argue over whether it was the FBI, the CIA, Lyndon Johnson, Fidel Castro, the Mafia, etc., etc., that was responsible for Kennedy's assassination. Somehow, the Russkies are pretty low on the list.

He did, a friend made the mistake of giving it to me as a gift - yuk. Some intersting books I've read have been "Marina and Lee," "Libra" (somewhat fictional but interesting(, and "In Search of Lee Harvey Oswald," by Robert Groden, who also did a book on the assassination some whie before.

The body of Oswald was exhumed later by Marina, and the strangely "detached" head found on top of the body was determined by dental records to be Oswald's, it had no trepanning (skull removal) marks from an autopsy according to the mortician who buried him originally.

All so innocent.

the exhumation proved eadows and the mortician TOTALLY WRONG. everythying was exactly as it should have been scars, mastoid hole and his skull had been removed - the top to do the autopsy. the head WAS NOT detached but just barely attached as the vault had broken and there was water damage and great deal of decay the mortician had tried to say the body had been dug up and replaced but it was total bull vaults break all the time but the liar who made mwkk twisted it all into lies

THANK you for this! I loved this show too, and watched it as a kid, and somehow missed this one - the "Amityville Horror" one being the only one that stuck. Though not a "CT" (conspiracy theorist) Oswald intrigues me, and thei tells SO MUCH MORE about all that stuff re: scars, etc., so that "2 Oswalds" theory is NOT all that new after all. But the height thing - that is just weird. Anyway, I was mesmerized. Thank you!

Isn't it though? The "two" are SO similar, mouth wise, etc., but there are marked differences, and some of the current books and such are even MORE up on this, as far as height discrepancies and the lack of scars, the thin hair, the thick hair, the big neck, the skinny neck, etc., it is just - ODD. And my stars, you would THINK Marina would notice a difference?!? "Alik, darlink, your shest is soddenlee mush more airy than it voss yesterday, vott appened?" LOL...
