I'm 13 weeks pregnant and just had my risk testing for Trisomy 21, 13 and 18 done. Watching your video made me cry. How can such a precious life not be given a chance by nature? It doesn't seem fair. I'm so sorry for your loss.
As an indirect caregiver (I'm an RN who was helping your primary nurse the second night of Lily's life), I can tell you from the bottom of my heart, that she touched ALL of us - who were lucky enough to care for her and you, as a family. I can't imagine the mixed emotions that you are going through-the pain and the joy of being blessed by her life. BUT I can tell you that, I am a better person having been privileged to get to know your beautiful baby, even if only for 12 hours. Thank you.
It is so clear to see that she recieved more love on her short time here on earth, than some people do that spend 80 years here. Isn't it strange how 24 hours or less can change the rest of entire lives and how one sweet angel changes your entire perspective. I know you felt privileged to have held an angel, even for just a short time, but God felt that you were extra special family and he placed her in your arms.
