Congratulations!!! Every time I see a pregnant momma or newborn baby I get the itch for another...then Brighton will through a serious tantrum & I thank God for Birth Control! I just started working again & am enjoying finally having more than 100 bucks in my bank account so I want to wait at least another year before trying again, I REALLY do miss having a teeny tiny cooing angel in the house though.
Aww that sounds like a very gentle way of weaning him, well done :) I also weaned my little guy at 19 months, in a similar fashion. He still asks for a feed every now and then but is content with a cuddle instead.
Thanks everyone, no way I could've lasted this long without my husbands support. I wanted to quit so many times but it was really important to him that I nurse for at least at year. So without his encouragement I probably would've stopped at just 1 month!
You did an awesome job with breastfeeding, Cathy! I was so frustrated with breastfeeding, and I wish I could have done it longer, so seriously, I give you kudos for sticking with it for almost two years.
