  • 'Beats were UK, not USA!'

  • F*****g Nora. I Would Get Tangled If I Would Rap That Fast.

My Respect Goes Out To One Of The Kings From The Late 80's

    Well Done Mate. Respect.

    Peace!

  • man this is what im talkin about, real shit, this brings bck some great memories, nights out wasted pumpin to this classic tune...they dont make em like this anymore

  • Respect goes out to Silver Bullet for his innovative, hardcore UK raps. Still have all of his vinyl records. He is def one of the best hip hop artists of all times.

  • Really like this, its a tuff tune......respect..... I know that Silver Bullets roots lie in the big AY ... as in Aylesbury Bucks,........ which back in the days of the mid to late 80's was so grim as an oversize market town with 200 boozers, no club and a whole heap of attitude it has also bred talent like MC Conrad, LTJ Bukems leading MC, and not of course not forgeting John Ottway and his Bunsen Burner. Fish out of Marrilion also had a spell working for AY's job centre....far out man...

  • @TheLiamovich silver bullets roots lie in SOUTH ACTON WEST LONDON

  • forgemasters track with no name

  • Don't know what the fuck he is rapping about but used to be dropped at raves in London in 1989 with the Detroit techno, eurobeats, hip house and Italian House and we loved it!

  • I remember DJing for him at Capital Radio...used to go to school together & i still have all the tapes we made with his freestyling over my scratching!! Back then it was the early start of Kriminal Diversion with about 10 of us ( I was DJ SpinBad) lol

  • This song has been going through my head today... think the Royal nuptials might have something to do with it.

  • "Peel back your shirt and inject the beat!"

  • God damn he was well good looking! I was a bit too young to see what he looked like back then. You're right though he was before his time. We should try to resurrect this one or 20 Seconds to Comply. Proud he was British! He was our Godfather of UK Rap. I wonder if any of these kids now with their Urban speak even know who he was....

  • I worked with this guy and what you have to understand is at the time he was the only one with the guts to rap as an englishman, 99% of the people I worked with at the time ( in London), tried to be S central LA now that took guts, so respect to bullet

  • brings back memories, remember the demons boyz and best of all, the goup that made all yanks hip hop sound whack......... HIJACK THE TERRORIST GROUP! Now Komanche Sly and the boys from Brixton/London oh and dont forget Overlord X from Hackney! Now that WAS uk hip hop! nOw people into this weak-arse dance rubbish!

  • Manchester in the Acienda back in the day...madness and very, very funny :-)

  • Shame he looks like an East 17 reject.

If he was a bit darker and fatter, with a better beard

  • One of the most original British Rappers of yesteryear.

  • He was very original - there is very little that stands the test of time like this - brilliant.

  • i saw him live in arnhem, 1990, as an openingsact for a public enemy concert, in those days uk rap was a bit unknown but nevertheless mindblowing, hijack did also very well

  • Saaatani, lite länge man har letat efter denna klassiker då, finns varken att köpa eller ladda ner. Har den bara på kasettband....

ish is appalling, embarrassing & depressing!

  • nuff respect to the uk / usa pick up the pace! he may have had a point back then, but with what i found with Mr Bullet.... his style was his flow was pretty original, one of the first ( that i know of) to make a full sentance with words that start with the same letter, howver, he didnt make alot of sence.... i still have it on 12" tho!

  • sucka on the side SO WHAT DESTRUCT HIM..... classic line!

  • my best mate's sisters bf!

  • Oh oh, oh oh...here comes the Hammer

    no, wrong again...

  • Damn straight they do.

I do have to give them props for being down with Kool Keith, though.

  • love the nagra tape deck at the start

    class song

  • oh yes

  • DAMN... this beat is funky. I know that the sample this song used also was the basis for Kool Moe Dee's "I Go To Work"... in all honesty, I wish that he could have gotten THIS beat to work with instead of what Teddy Riley gave him (which is not to say that Riley isn't a good producer; it's just that his beats back then seriously did NOT age well with time, whereas this still sounds just as fresh as it probably did originally). It doesn't matter to me, though, since this brother goes MAD hard.

  • music today is defo shittttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt ! kool post man

  • I saw him live in 1990, he opened for Public Enemy, was well impressed by his performance!

  • One of the best old UK Hardcore Hip Hop!

  • yes with mc tunes and hijack.

  • I heard this on the RADIO last week.

    It sounded soooo good !

  • srry forgot dungeons. martins.raindance..........your very oldskool if you remember martins

  • But maybe I owe them one for great tunes and realising the benefit of hard work at an early age!

  • Those two records (amongst quite a few others) made me work my nutsack off until the early hours after they were released back then, many times working until past midnight on my own pumping out these tunes while I got orders ready for HMV, Virgin and Our Price record shops etc..

I was only 20 and it was hard work and I'd like to say to the likes of Rebel MC and Silver Bullet that "You owe me a pint for getting you as high as you did in the charts"!

  • I worked in the storeroom for Pacific Records in Harringay, (the distribution company for Silver Bullet's Tam Tam label) between 1986-91, (aged 16 to 21) we also distributed for Debut and Desire (Rebel MC's "Street Tuff" came out on that label the same year).

  • OLD SKool UK Hip-Hop Still Prevails !!
