Wow...what an amazing wall of sound this song is! It encapsulates black soul, having fun and playing around as a kid, and an invigorating optimism that is infectious.
i've said it before and now i'am saying it again they really gotta start putting more effort and enthusiasm into there singing and not have there bass so loud!
Me neither. The bass has to be pretty far in front in a mix where most other melodic instruments are used more like fills. The bass is what drives the entire thing. Cut that back and you're left with nothing pushing the melody.

I have to disagree on the statement that they're "progressive"...they're just cleaned up, UBER-twee, mediocre, hip-hop exploiting, '60s revival music. The only thing good about this song is that violin sample. They're just a hollow band that's riding the wave of stupid hipsters that wouldn't know good music if Morrissey himself slapped you in the face with his penis while reciting lord finesse raps.
i think you and other people need to calm down and stop taking music so seriously
i just like how this song makes me happy so get whatever crawled up your ass and died out of there and make some of your own music then post it so we can go and post flames about whatever shit you can muster up
"Morrissey himself slapped you in the face with his penis while reciting lord finesse raps."
Oh who *hasn't* he done that to already?
I love this "band". They're a 1970s that never happened. While they sound like sunshine, they're also in their own way as noisy as the Jesus and Mary Chain or My Bloody Valentine.
I like this video much more than the official psychedelic, seisure-inducting freakout. This one excellently conveys a certain point in time and it's associated mindset. It almost makes me feel sorry for being born too late for that nostalgia bomb to impact me.
I wonder if someone is ever going to do the same trick on the 90's. Can't wait.
Well don't you think that now you know what it's actually called you'll be able to find it easily enough? If you're not too good at internet searches, perhaps now is a good time to practise. Thanks Mattmemphis for upping this vid, by the way. Love all that Super 8 stuff.
God bless this band. The whole album this is from is great - and the way it ends is just...massive. I don't normally go for stuff this "sweet" but I completely endorse this band. It's been a long time since a whole album was this fantastically good, beginning to end.

It's pretty interesting how the British seem to be fascinated by American culture. This vid is a testament to that.
I'm pretty sure they don't have jump-rope competitions in Manchester.
I luv the Go team. They have a very meaty progressiveness.

British bands also seem to be able to capture that jangle rythm guitar sound of the 60s very well from The Beat to Paul Weller to Go Team.
