hey zomb, I downloaded your finished beta build, and I cant get it to work. I replaced the Max Payne 2 files with the ones your pack came with, I can get the title screen to start off fine untill the loading screen comes up and says that its missing a hand texture file. So my question is, how are YOU able to play it flawlessly, while I cant? Did you not include everything in your release? Please tell me how to get this thing working, if not, please point me in the right direction.

it works -> just disable Pixel Shader Skins in Options and it will work

I'm really waiting for the full version. There are only errors in this beta. Can't start the game. EVERY file except the menu has an error! "Can't find this...", "Cant find that..."... Why?

Now, that's nicely done! I will definitely give this one a try when it's released. Max Payne is an all-time favourite of mine, and the classic look is going to give MP2 a somewhat nostalgic feel. The last several seconds of your vid here are absolutely hilarious, good one!

cool, i got to get this. personally, i thought the second one couldnt live up to the standard the first one set. sure the graphics were good and there was a fancy physics engine, but the first one changed the world of gaming!

Good idea. I think the first one was the best. Second one sucked, anyways. But I never noticed how in the first one they don't show his lips moving, because he never talked during gameplay, until now.
