The the following "uh to touch and to feel you mama" doesn't make much sense.

Well, it's hard to believe that Phil would sing his own song WRONG. Live versions are, of course, usually different every time. You can't expect them to be EXACTLY THE SAME as the studio versions.

There is a drum machine and live drums being played together here. The drummer is Chester Thompson....and no that's not the famous "In The Air Tonight" fill. To my knowledge (and I know a lot about Genesis and Phil) it has only been used in 2 songs....of course, "In The Air Tonight" and "Thru These Walls".
