  • I'm wondering, just for curiosity's sake: how did you amass this many monsters? I mean, I guess you didn't get them all when they first came out (okay, maybe you WERE very rich as a kid, or not a kid anymore); but where did you find them? And how much did they cost? And, more importantly, have you stopped collecting them?

  • @EdgarQuond I bought them on Ebay . com

And I still collect them just I miss really low number of figures to complete Matchbox Collection of all figures in all available colours.

    I only collect 1st 2nd and 3rd serie and now I own about 2.500 M.I.M.P.

The cost of the vary a lot from 1$ for common figures to 200 - 700$ for the rares and SuperRares pieces.

To have more info visit: Little Rubber Guys . com

To see all the figures in all the available colours visit: Monstercollecting . com

  • There is also .mywebpages.comcast.net/scottandrewh/mimplist.html, but you have to retrieve it on archive.org.

  • this may be a long shot but does anyone have any recollection of a series of little figures like monsters in my pocket that came in a little plastic dustbin, they came out in the 1980's and i'm dying to find them

  • @randolphbooth it's ok i've found them they were called 'muscle' and were a weird japanese collection

  • Damn dude, I used to love these! If these were mine though, Id put a few on display in a curio cabinet!

  • This is driving me nuts, I used to play with toys similar to these but these are not them. The toys I'm thinking of you had to order from a label on the Chef Boyardee or spaghettio's can or maybe something else. It was the early 90's I want to say 93? One was a centaur with a bow and arrow and the other was a elephant man, and i think another was a moose man with knives. Maybe it was these but a rare set? please help I want to know what these toys were so I can get them again

  • @CainmosniMirrored yes these were the ones your speaking of the figure you got from the spaghettio's was a elephant man called Ganesha, the centaur with the bow and arrow was actually Scorpion man and the moose with knives was Herne the hunter, All from monster in my pocket series 2.

  • @Daxel101UK Yeah, I did some more digging after I watched this video and you are right, set number two was what I was looking for. When I first looked these up I kept thinking they were called pocket monsters but of course all I got was Pokemon so I gave up for a while thinking I'd never find them. Then, about a month ago I typed Franco American monsters into Google and Voila!!!

  • @CainmosniMirrored You are thinking of Battle Beasts, look it up on wikipedia.

  • @nomadikk No, I have never seen Battle Beasts before. Thanks though.

  • i envy you dude

  • Fuckin epic!

  • un dia sabre donde vives y ya no tendras nada!!! jajaja chida coleccion.

  • Ordered a couple of MIMPS the other day. I had totally forgotten about them. I probably had quite a few when I was younger.

  • Hi i was wondering do you have (or ever find a picture of) the rare monster with a star on its back from series one? I collected these as a kid and with the internet tried finding at least a picture of the one with a star on his back online and couldnt even find that?

  • I'VE NOT THAT FIGURE AND NEVER SEEN A PICTURE OF IT....

I would like to grab one so much too

  • Well if you even ever see a picture of it let me know, ive searched like crazy just to find a picture, most people say it never was actually made.

I bet they made like 2 and little kids got it and destroyed it completely

  • POR LA PU....

  • How much for the lot? lol I just started collecting them ....again! lol

  • epic collection. personally, they look stupid all wrapped up like that. i'd put them on display, surely you can get some of those towers to put them in. individually.

  • what does they do and what are they plz reply

  • Hi. Monster in my pocket were a collection of small rubber figures representing famous monsters from litarature, mythology and foreign cultures. Similar to MUSCLE figures, but featuring characters like Werewolf, Mummy, Anubis, Invisible Man, Minotaur and more. It lasted for four series or more, but just the first two were really nice. I have a little collection of series one figures, but here in Italy they were produced in different colors.

  • Wow. I loved these things

  • Muy buena coleccion, yo solo tengo los de la primera y la segunda pero de distintos colores.

  • wow!!!! i have got about 800 monsters in my pocket, but you have so much more. wow. i guess to buy still more on ebay.

  • Hi! I used to collect these when I was a kid, they were my favorite toys, is there any way you could sell me any of your figures? They bring back a lot of old memories... great toys, should continue to make them out of rubber, the 2006 set isn't too nice.

Great collection! I wanna play with them! Haha.
