I am trying to buy a display set of the first series (all in a single colour, preferably red). If you can help please e-mail me at akashicsoldier@gmail.com.
I've found pictures but I have had NO LUCK finding a set available for purchase with a volcano. I dont care if they're knockoffs or whatever. I just want them for nostalgia and to display.
I'm wondering, just for curiosity's sake: how did you amass this many monsters? I mean, I guess you didn't get them all when they first came out (okay, maybe you WERE very rich as a kid, or not a kid anymore); but where did you find them? And how much did they cost? And, more importantly, have you stopped collecting them?
hey , i was sorting out a box of toys from the attic yesterday and came across these little monsters i collected when i was little , there not "monsters in my pocket" i use to collect them from cereal boxes. the only names i can remeber are "sport star" and "speedy rider" any idea what they where?!
@Transformndrollout Hey thanks for the reply , no there definetly not monster in my pocket figures. i didnt realise you where in Italy before i messaged maybe they didnt have them over there?! if anyone else knows what they are , id be interested to find out!
@IcyB Nooooooo!!!! Why?!?!? You sold all of them just to get some money?? I can never think to do something like that...!! My collection is more important of a bunch of money, dude... REAL SHAME!!!
@IcyB Yeah dude anyone tried to sell my collection to boy up their money id plant my boot between their legs collections should be more important than money...
Id feel as though I was selling out sure I sell things but only my shit stuff even then I sell it to buy in more stuff.
this may be a long shot but does anyone have any recollection of a series of little figures like monsters in my pocket that came in a little plastic dustbin, they came out in the 1980's and i'm dying to find them
This is driving me nuts, I used to play with toys similar to these but these are not them. The toys I'm thinking of you had to order from a label on the Chef Boyardee or spaghettio's can or maybe something else. It was the early 90's I want to say 93? One was a centaur with a bow and arrow and the other was a elephant man, and i think another was a moose man with knives. Maybe it was these but a rare set? please help I want to know what these toys were so I can get them again
@CainmosniMirrored yes these were the ones your speaking of the figure you got from the spaghettio's was a elephant man called Ganesha, the centaur with the bow and arrow was actually Scorpion man and the moose with knives was Herne the hunter, All from monster in my pocket series 2.
@Daxel101UK Yeah, I did some more digging after I watched this video and you are right, set number two was what I was looking for. When I first looked these up I kept thinking they were called pocket monsters but of course all I got was Pokemon so I gave up for a while thinking I'd never find them. Then, about a month ago I typed Franco American monsters into Google and Voila!!!
OMFG!!! This is amazing!!!!! I'm from Brazil, and i have all the monsters from the first serie, excepting the green vampiress. I'm searching her for almost 15 years, how sad. (excuse my english). Congratulations!!
Hi i was wondering do you have (or ever find a picture of) the rare monster with a star on its back from series one? I collected these as a kid and with the internet tried finding at least a picture of the one with a star on his back online and couldnt even find that?
epic collection. personally, they look stupid all wrapped up like that. i'd put them on display, surely you can get some of those towers to put them in. individually.
Anyway 3rd serie I have two Complete collections and 18 different MIP (Sealed in packet) figures and a lot of doubles; totally more than 150 pieces.
Then I have 2nd serie complete in all colours and 1st serie in standard colours Complete and neon colours almost complete, I miss just 4 figures in Neon colour... :D
YES YES MAN!!! This is a serious illness surely :D :D :P
Hi. Monster in my pocket were a collection of small rubber figures representing famous monsters from litarature, mythology and foreign cultures. Similar to MUSCLE figures, but featuring characters like Werewolf, Mummy, Anubis, Invisible Man, Minotaur and more. It lasted for four series or more, but just the first two were really nice. I have a little collection of series one figures, but here in Italy they were produced in different colors.
Hi! I used to collect these when I was a kid, they were my favorite toys, is there any way you could sell me any of your figures? They bring back a lot of old memories... great toys, should continue to make them out of rubber, the 2006 set isn't too nice.

I only collect 1st 2nd and 3rd serie and now I own about 2.500 M.I.M.P.
The cost of the vary a lot from 1$ for common figures to 200 - 700$ for the rares and SuperRares pieces.
To have more info visit: Little Rubber Guys . com
To see all the figures in all the available colours visit: Monstercollecting . com
