This is not fake! Those of you claiming it is, or that the director soaked the fruit in alcohol are simply experiencing brain farts! Just because one giraffe is filmed, or one ostrich, does not mean that you've turned into the world's greatest detective! Sorry to disappoint - it's all true!
Directors soaked the fruit with alcohol before giving it to the animals. Notice that each animal seems to be filmed alone and directly and not in a large herd. Giraffes only travel in herds yet this video shows 1. Same with Ostriches. People Come ON its not rocket science
Yeah. Maybe it's fake. But those days Jamie made us all laugh and that's why the video is here. I honestly believe that all TV has fakeness up to some point. Thanks for your comment though.
Why don't you post a link and show us how it's debunked? I don't want to be confrontational, but have you ever brewed alcohol before? The heat alone would be enough to start the fermentation process that would complete in the stomaches of the eaters. There's many many different yeasts just floating around in the air, many of which we haven't been discovered yet. The idea is not unthinkable, or even, unlikely. Not at all.
Look up Africa freak and Marula fruit myth on google. Next time do your research instead of having someone do it for you. Can't believe you weren't even skeptical of this video. Maybe monkeys might get typsy but an Elephant no way. 25% of their body weight. That means a typical elephant would need to eat over a 1000 lbs of over riped fruit to get drunk. I dont even think a tree produces that much
What are you talking about? I did my own research. I was just asking you for real proof that this isn't fake. Why do you have to get so confrontational? Chill out. Let it go. Calm down. It's all going to be O.K.
Those days? lol those days sucked, common who wants to go back to the 70s. Bell Bottoms, Roller skates, Afros, and worst of all Disco. . . . its when humanity thought they reached there peak in technology style and greatness only to be forgotten forever by bigger better things. God that is an awful era

This film was debunked YEARS ago. It is a myth about the Marula fruit - animals do NOT get drunk from it. Do some research!
