Thank god I saw this before my next bar fight. Those blocks will totally work. Should I make the swishing noise whilst performing the blocks or will my attacker see this as an indication that I plan on blocking his repeated knee and elbow attacks?
@whotookdonnierules Sweet, Thinking about making some. If you're looking for new ways to train speed and endurance, search for korekite on youtube. Great vids man!
please please please show me how to hold pads for leg kicks ive seen it done soo many ways over hand back hand im confused please make this vid..by the way ur other vids are awesome thanks for uploadng
@Ldek12 man id show you if only i knew how to do utube vids. but the best way depends on low or mid level kicks. they dont do high kicks at that school, its fancy and for the ring.
LET ME ASK WHAT IF THIS ATTACKER HAD EXTRA FAST AND WELL DEVELOPED GRECO ROMAN SKILLS IN CONJUNCTION WITH KNEEING ABILITES.
THIS EQUALS POWER STEP (EXPLOSIVE )OR BETTER MODERATE JUMP/SKIP INTO KNEE THEN DIRECTLY AFTER REGUARDLESS IF SUCCESSFUL OR NOT SAG BUTT BACK WILST HOOKING NECK EITHER SINGLE OR DOUBLE ARM CONTROL OF NECK INTO MORE ULTRA VIOLENT BARAGE OF PISTON LIKE KNEES HITTING ANY WHERE POSIABLE ...
ONE OF THE OBJECTS IS TO MAKE YOU LEAN OVER THEN HIT YOU ..
When blocking the knees with the--what appeared to be--forearms, doesn't that leave you a bit open in the facial region? It seemed like so to me from this video. Maybe, I'm mistaken though.
@Ronnock The method of blocking with a single pad frees you up by allowing yourself to catch faster, more complicated combos. Like I said in the video, I don't use it in clinch knee drill, but outside of the clinch it can be really useful. And as long as you're moving back while meeting the strike halfway you're safe from getting clocked. You get to practice your footwork, your partner gets to throw at full power: its a win-win :) But it isn't mean to replace the classic cross-armed method.

@wtamisin They are indeed! An inner tube, sand, and electrical tape does the trick.
