i listen to all these guys including alex and find them more in the same boat than not. Beck I see to be more and more in line with Alex as time goes on. He seems to be coming around to realizing that what Alex says is more correct than those who tow a party line.

I wouldn't describe the motive of Beck, O'Reilly, and Hannity as infiltration-like. These men are entertainers, much like Jerry Springer. They're motive is to boost ratings. Libertarians, moderates, and authoritarians all represent various compromises of conservative and progressive ideas. Yes i do believe that on the whole, Americans are far more concerned with material objects rather than spiritual, intellectual, etc. Consumerism IS the culture in America.
Yes i think consumerism has intrinsically negative values. It promotes the "keeping up with the Johnsons" mentality, greed, envy.
When I say the "world", I am referring to developed nations - i.e., US, UK, Japan, etc.

I've never listened to Limbaugh or Savage. I've watched Beck off & on for a few months, he talks out against the right & the left. Can't say what he has said in the past but I don't put him in the camp of just right wingers. Maybe I'm wrong, could be. Any info that is reported should be checked out.
Alex is right, it's the truth that matters.
After all, I think both parties are really in trouble & America is tired of picking their poison instead of a true leader.

Rush - Is good at analysing the relationship of politics between Dem & Rep. Rush does not get into all this other stuff, that's not what his show is about.
Glenn Beck- is not a republican, he is an independant, and apart from Alex feeling like Beck turn against him with the FEMA camps and (9/11) stuff he is great at exposing what is going on and he helps people prepare for what is coming.
Savage- Savage is Savage, he hates government.
