I got extended mags for this USAS-12 on Jan-22 and it was just painful. No other shotgun benefited more from the extended mags glitch than this one.

You should mention that the sprint bonus also works with your secondary weapon, but if you pick up an enemy weapon, you loose the sprint bonus. I Just had the best MW game of my life today. 53-4 with this USAS-12-Grip shotgun and a MP9-Silenced. Guess this video is a little outdated with the 1.08 patch.

january 25th, all the shottys except the striker got a buff, increasing the pellets by 50% similar to the EM glitch, so the usas now shoots 9 pellets per shot

I used the striker on my 1st prestige to lvl up my perks, and I swear i did better with it on team defender than i did w/ striker on same gametype. Maybe its cuz i was getting back to the flag faster, or ohko-ing people more? It just feels more... Solid. And the Spaz SUCKS compared to mw2 spaz, almost allways 2hko at medium range yet on mw2 its almost always 1hko at med range. It got nerfed to hell in this game.

It's probably a placebo effect, but I was using it to try to get more xp for completing challenges, and I could swear it was one shotting people more often. I believe the same thing happened with the AA-12 also. I do know for a fact that the range was reduced, but could it be possible that the silencer would make the pellets cluster more? Thank you!

im sorry but the only shotguns you say are good are the spas and striker, you probably dont use shotguns a lot because the spas and striker are the easiest to use, the ksg takes few pellets to kill so it has the highest ohk range but it is a precision shooter, the the model is the strongest shotgun but requires aiming to make use of it, the usas can ohk but at the same time helps when you miss on the first shot, i just wanted to let you know that the shotguns dont suck they only suit one style.

I got a MOAB with the USAS - with no range/damage. IMO, it is the 2nd best shotgun behind the striker. The fact that u can get a 2nd shot off means it is better than all the pumps/levers. It is a good shotgun.

Well,the USAS is actually nice, but it's not an exceptional shotgun in any way, feels kinda like M1014 in MW2. Striker, as always, outclasses it in every single aspect.

An added note in relation to the USAS, try to aim down the sights more often when shooting it, although it'll take away from Steady Aim, it tends to feel more effective to me. I'd rather run Slight of Hand, Assassin and Dead Silence with it so that it's easier to get up on the enemy. And also, I have used both the USAS and the Striker to Autumn Camo and I'd pick the USAS before the Striker, hands down.

@Drift0r I personally feel that the USAS is better than most of the shotguns in the game, even in non-objective gametypes. It's more reliable when you get within close range when compared to the striker and when you get Range/Damage and Extended Mags, it becomes a lethal machine of destruction. I never use it fully auto, though, since it's much easier to control just shooting it like it's Semi-auto. And using SoH instead of EC can make a huge difference as well, it'll feel even better to use.

Compare the stats with the usas and the striker. The usas has a higher fire rate and i hate the striker because it sucks whenever i use it i spam the trigger faster than ive seen anyone shoot it before and it shoots slower than the freakin spas 12 on pot

And just a tip. You might have noticed him using the red dot sight. If you're using Steady Aim, hip firing will give you a tighter spread than aiming down the sights.

If you actually know how to use shotguns correctly, this gun is awesome, and the best shotgun in my opinion. Even better than the striker. Slower fire rate, but much much more 1 hit kills.
