@djcamronX91 You don't need Soften smoke edges, glow, and sometimes no Bullet impacts. Those just reduce FPS for almost no quality gain. I play on a AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (2GHz oc'd to 2.3Ghz) 1GB RAM, and a GTS 250 w/ max settings and 60+ FPS.

Well yeah, because cod4 was optimized for pc which can push graphics further than consoles, mw2 is a port so the graphics are xbox quality.

Technically...this is a very LOW Demanding game for anyone with a newish desktop, i just custom built mine for a little over 1k, and im running 6 cores t 3.5ghz with 8GB of ddr3 2000mhz RAM, and my video card is a Radeon HD 5870...my computer will pretty much run anything, so yea as Zanebrant said, Get a job, save some money, and you can get something pretty nice.

Exactly it's a GSO not a standard 9600. for one it only has 384mb of VRam and it has lower clocks and stream processors. The 9600 Gt low power low profile is leagues ahead.

Now i know why after digging in COD4 console system. The max simulating number of ragdoll character is 32. I'm pretty sure there's been 32 one already, so that guy was not be simulated. And after the pre-set animations, he's stucked in in the air because no ragdoll was implemented to him.

There are about 20, 25 different versions of the XFX 9600 GT, Some have 1Gb VRAM, some have 512, some are 600Mhz, some 650, / 680 or even 700Mhz for the OC version, They are all 256-bit cards n all good in their price range.

Actually, any amount of RAM over 3GB on a 32-bit OS (XP & Vista), will only display as 3GB/3072 in DXDIAG.

You may find that in Vista 32-bit, under system properties it'll say 4G, but *really*, it only recognises 3GB.

well all i know is that i get 75-86 fps on max in cod4 everywhere with my 9600gt ssc how much do you get?And in crysis i get around 47-52 fps.never lower then 47.

It isn't on because COD is a first person shooter, and FPS are very fast paced. Syncing every frame limits the maximum frame rate to half of your monitors refresh rate. It'll make every frame look solid but it "delays" the action whilst syncing.
