Embedding Toys in Soap

This brings back SUCH memories. My uncle was a very talented soap and candle maker, and every Christmas he would hand us a cake of fresh soap, and tell us "there's a surprise inside!" and indeed there was! Inside the soap was a piece of wrapped bubblegum, or a small toy or treat. We would use the soap down to stubs immediately, we were all anxious to discover the special surprise he had hidden, just for us! I always enjoyed walking into his store, it sold perfume, fragrance, candles and soap.

What Do You Mean By Non-Bleeding?

PS - Would this technique work if I mixed cold process soap layers with a clear layer of melt & pour? Just curious . . .

Love toy embeds! Did a really cool batch several years ago for Halloween with fake eyeballs. Embedded in clear, did a layer with glow in the dark powder then finished the back with black. Scented the black with anise and bubblegum fo. Spoooooky!
