And when I say 99% of dark skinned black bitches are ugly as hell, I'm really talking about African-American women. Black women of dark skin in America are the absolute worst. However, outside of the United States, there are some bad ass dark skinned black Canadian, British, Bahamian, Brazilian, chicks, and some African women like Ghanian, Egyptian, Ethiopian, Cape Verdean that are beautiful and not bitter or ghetto like black American hoes. I don't think Ne-yo is self-hating. I think his views of women and lighter complexions was taught to him at very young age. I think there is so much racism through out our community that's so painful its, creating all of these insecurities amongst black women and it should be that way. We need a community that has it's own voice and it's own traditions. Why are we so segregated amongst each other with this dark vs. lighter skin? Your complexion shouldn't define who you are. It doesn't define me.

Im sure that what he said about " all the prettiest kids is light skin" did not mean what yall think it means. He was just making conversation and it was relevant to their discussion at the time.
