you could talk to him about your concerns

  • @AndrewGoops

it would only affect you like that if you are on really high doses

  • watched your video. i also have body spasms and vocal tics and loads of other stuff from have been eating 15 different antipsychotics against my will in ten years. im 29 and are worried what i will be with dyskenisia when im older since they still medicate me with thoose medications. if i tell they just say that its the sickness like everything you tell is turned against you as a patient and diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. i live in sweden gothenburg my name is Therese.

  • I worte a comment to some of your other vid and than came here lo listen more, in previous comment I told you I dont like majority of ppl. What upsets me the most is their shalow/ness, strange morals, and lots of other things I dont know the name in english. But I like you :) u really sympathic to me and I love your deep voice. U really dont have to react on this I just wanted to tell you

  • This is a common side effect from psychotrophic drugs. Please go to paxilprogress (.) org and tell your story or read other people's stories. You will get a lot more information there from people who suffer the same.

  • thank you for sharing this. it was really helpful for me to visualize this, i am a medical student. god bless you...

  • Have you read about medical marijuana helping with the pains involved in tardive dyskinesia?

Please don't be embarassed, you have no need to feel that way, its just the way things are sometimes!

  • you are SO pretty!!!! i love your videos!! im a little obsessed(;

  • i hope u be ok i pray for that and ask about Quran it's the cure.just like Mohammad Ali>>>and my dad(but not like u ,he had parkinson)

  • I'd tell those psych babble shrinks to shove those piss up their ASS!

  • Hello,

My name is Mike and I am in paramedic school at OHSU in Portland Oregon. I want to say thanks for posting this and tell you that I think you are brave to share this. I just had a lecture today on Seizures and yours was one of them. I do have a question and don't know how often you look at this but thought I would ask anyway. Were you on antidepressants or anxiety medication and then these started or did they just came about? Thanks an take care

  • @surfdogpaschall

I was on 80 prozac and nearly 800 seroquel

Some docs believe that the seroquel was the cause while others believe it just happened that way.

  • psychiatrists in hospital are mother fuckerz they usually think you are faking everything whatever your problem is

you should stop taking seroquel it is bullshit old medicine which shouldnt be used these days i was taking it too and i had similar problems now i dont because i dont take it

you should never take any of these drugs :

    rispolept (risperidone)

    haloperidol

    seroquel

what you should take is Akineton

cheers i hope it helps take care you are a nice girl :)

  • You think that's bad? Give me ten minute's and I'll have your body spasming harder than you can ever imagine.

  • I, too, have a movement disorder. I am 62 and have had the disorder since I was 56. My spasms are not as violent as some of yours. Mine tend to occur when I am relaxed, though I occasionally get them at other times. If I am ill with, say, the flu, the spasms get much worse. Don't be embarrassed. You have a neurological disorder that you cannot help. A neurologist may not be able to identify your disease, but that's the proper specialty to deal with your condition. Good luck to you.

  • Diskinesia!

Another things to laugh at school.

We already laugh at tourettes and huntingtongs u know

    Another target

  • If I can offer some help, click on my channel for more information. Everything can be healed with full awareness. Depending on the condition there are healing tools such as Reiki which can ground you in the body, juice fasting can detoxify the heavy metals in the body, and Feldenkrais movement therapy can help rebuild the neural patterns in the body.

  • you're good to have a baby. kids get to know the difference between Tourette's and the actual you. You're fine!

  • Dr. Gary Young of youngliving. com wrote EODR essential oil desk reference on PEO pure essential oil. Helichrysum, Raindrop, Panaway really help healing. Gary young was paralyzed when a log fell on him... today he is running marathons. essentialoiltherapies. com PEO brought to Christ child, etc. see my vaccine playlist. within one week of usArmy shots' i was caughing blood .etc. take wheat grass, oxysilver, sun gaze, 5 rite, get close to earth... more detail for those that want.

  • I am so pleased to hear that you have received a a proper diagnosis. Best of luck to youL:)

  • it is that simple..the world just dont know..the world is 2 busy believing in themselves..2 give God a shot..tell me wat u think..if u would..Faith BRINGS Joy...with faith theres a shift pressure seems 2 lift thoughts become clear and its as if we can breath again we know things r going 2 b ok..with faith things change...faith BRINGS..faith BRINGS joy..faith BRINGS expectation..faith BRINGS restoration..knock knock..whose there?..happiness...howd u get here..faith BROUGHT me..God gives faith : )

  • @kozmoses o come on dude there is no evidence >_< how do you expect people from the 21st century to believe in something they cannot sense

  • @UsBeatingU you can sense it you are just not aware of it because you have not been exposed to this side of things..do you have things that scare you..then also do you have things that comfort you..do you have things that hurt you..then also do you have things that make you feel good..if you can experiance unbelief then wouldnt it make sense that belief is also available..and so if sickness is there then also there is healing

  • Comment removed

  • so you don 't believe in Jesus healing you? what if i told you Hes going to heal you right now...youll never have another problem again in Jesus name..you are healed..

  • @kozmoses

If it were that simple the world would be a better place

  • @idranktheseawater is it cureable?

  • @stealth1692

    no

  • @idranktheseawater oh right probably a stupid question now that i think about it

  • @idranktheseawater you know something, with ever disorder it just makes you a better person

  • @kozmoses

    Seriously?

Are you really that disconnected from reality?

  • so you don't believe that??

  • i dont want to force things on you but what do you think about this..?And when they came to the crowd, a man came up to him and, kneeling before him, said, "Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and he suffers terribly. For often he falls into the fire, and often into the water. And I brought him to your disciples, and they could not heal him." And Jesus answered, Bring him here to me."And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him, and the boy was healed instantly

  • @kozmoses

    lol

  • @kozmoses essene gospel of Christ has reference to christ smashing the head of 5 foot parasite after tempting it from the ill person. Christ called it satan... yes, there are other variety of satan being rebuked. When aura (seen in Kirlan photography) is weak.. astral dark entities can more easily enter your space. Singing chanting Gods names work more than people realize... like glass shatters by sound, demonic influence flee at Holy sound.

  • @kozmoses I read that in the message the other day.

  • i just saw this video its now 2011 and was just wondering how things are going..

  • @kozmoses

I was diagnosed with tourettes syndrome

Things still get bad, but at least I know whats going on

  • TD is a side effect of ABILIFY.

    Watch ABILIFY KILLS on YouTube!

  • I had very similar experience in hospital. When you have the spasms laying on your back that also has happened to me but I don't come out of them as quickly. Yours seem to happen over and over. Mine would start and continuously get worse.

I hope you can get someone to believe in you and help you.

  • You are sexy as hell so don't be depressed. Most people would rather have this disorder than be ugly. Being ugly is extremely difficult. Life is unbearable. People treat ugly people like they are contagious and will not touch us or give us affection. Ugly people have to pretend that they don't need affection. . Can you imagine looking in the mirror and seeing an ugly reflection and knowing that this ugly thing is me?

  • I will pray for you. Can you tell me something, were you doing anything unusual a few days prior to when they began?

I have been healed of three very bad illnesses/ syndromes by Jesus.

    Trust in Him.

  • Get off the spych meds they will f u up!!! go holistic !!wean off that poison. I did and i stoped the maddness!!! hold on to Jesus he is my new drug!!! I am stable now after three years of maddness and cutting.

  • im afraid to have it one day also cause of my meds .....pffff

  • Zantac (ranitidine) can also cause dyskinesias in larger doses, and with people with kidney disease.

  • @fructmals I sometimes have short ones when I go to sleep. I started getting them after my doc prescribed protonix and then zantac...Could you elaborate on this? I would like more information, as I always had a suspicion that these drugs were to blame...

  • wow.I know how you feel. I have a disorder called a conversion disorder. It makes me have seizures that are non-epileptic. They are worse when I'm in public and when I'm stressed. Also at the hospital people do not believe me. They think I can control it and tell me to stop faking it.

  • @plushbanana I was taking the drug Geodon and it made me have an acute dystonic reaction. Went to the hospital and they accused me of faking it. Usually, a dumb bed nurse, I told her afterwards she was a dumb bitch.

  • Geez, I am at loss of words, this is me, I do same things, and when someone sees you say like in Walmart, They will ask if you are ok? I must say yes, this isn't my first rodeo! Do not call 911! and just get the hell away from....peace, cindy

  • My daughter just turned 2 and she was recently dx with pnkd. She is very lucky to have a pedi neurologist that has seen this before and who truly cares. She seems to handle things well but my heart breaks with every episode. My heart goes out to you. Stay strong! God Bless!

  • My daughter has tardive dyskinesia and your attacks on the video look just like hers. She is 7 and was diagnosed at age 5. She was on a med (reglan)for 5yrs that causes it. She screams with her attacks or cries in pain when they are over and often times can't walk bc of stiffness and pain in her legs.

  • @GlobalSparkell

That's so sad that a young darling like her has to go through that. It's not fair for either of us, but I can relate.

  • @idranktheseawater does it happen while your asleep as well?

  • my movement problems were caused bc of some of the meds m dr put me on....specially ssNri's......... with the N not the S there two diff things

  • meh to each their own........ your pretty

  • wow Thank god I don't have this. I just get random minor spasms (normal) when I stretch or am tired or stuff and my whole body shakes a bit for a second or two. :)

  • ur so cuuuute

  • soooooo cute and pretty

  • Hot.

  • I THINK YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL,AND YOU HAVE AN AWESOME PERSONALITY.I THINK YOU HAVE A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR,I'M VERY SORRY,YOU GOING THRU ALL THIS.

RICKY GUIDRY-FACEBOOK,LOOK FOR THE MAN WITH BLACK BANDANNA...........

  • you poor girl... i wish you the best.

  • Men must love that

  • subclinical epilepsy or Seizures

  • I just filmed a short video of myself search "Chris muscle twitches" if you want to see

  • Spawned is supposed to be spasm thanks IPad for the spelling I am a nurse or anesthesia and they still treated me like I was crazy very frustrating

  • Have you had a muscle biopsy? Dyskinesia and akinesia are catch all terms meaning abnormal or difficult movements. What is the underlying cause? I had 6 very severe episodes at work brought on by a stressful event my whole body spawned for a minute and I couldn't breathe. They sent me to a large teaching hospital Cleveland I was treated like I was crazy I am getting a muscle biopsy next week hopefully if they find a diagnosis I will pass on results. I would like to talk more about the many

  • @chriservo

They thought you were faking? That's frustrating. I've been accused of that too.

My disorder turned out to be Tourettes, but I really believe that the seroquel triggered it.

  • @idranktheseawater

Its called Tardive Dyskinesia right? It happens to 15-30% of antipsychotic drug users that have been taking the drug for longer than a year. I'm sorry, hope you have coped well.

  • Same problem

  • did they think you had a conversion disorder or factitious disorder..hence the psychiatrist?

  • did they think you had a conversion disorder or factitious disorder..hence the psychiatrist

  • @221hetzalwel221

No, They did not. I needed a shrink for other mental health issues.

  • Have you ever taken Reglan (metoclopramide)? It is generally for nausea, vomiting, acid reflux, and things of that nature. If not, I would suggest staying away. It is known to cause these types of dyskinesia disorders in people.

  • Fu*king hate doctors ! they didnt belive you? what the hell is wrong with them... I swear all doctors etc should had all illness so they could show some compassion..

Doctors etc only belive something is wrong when people die from it! i dont understand how they think, and u ask for help and they say "stop pretending" .... Makes me so angry :S :( I really hope you doing better, must be so awfulle to have this :( poor baby *hugs*

  • Fucking hate doctors ! they didnt belive you? what the hell is wrong with them...

  • You're very pretty.

  • have you talked to your doctor about possible paroxysmal akathisia? i was diagnosed with this several years ago and it affects my head bobbing pretty hard and my whole body will shake.

  • i know what you mean i have fibromyalgia and mussel spasms

and they use to say it was all in your heed (fibromyalgia) so my hart go';s out to you

  • You think it's caused by Seroquel? I know someone who takes that...this hasn't happened to her yet...but this scares me...!

  • @bandobendi87crosby

This would only happen if she is on a high dose and most often on the long term. Mine is a rare case.

  • @bandobendi87crosby seroquel is evil i have to take it and it makes my legs freak out when im tryin to relax or sleep never happened until i started taking that shit a few months ago

  • ive been taking seriquel for awhile, and it started to give me little spasms. im weaning myself off it it now.. and it makes me have really horrifying vivid dreams aswell.

  • It sounds to me you've been through the same thing that I've had to endure. Unfortunately the stupid doctors still haven't figured out what I have. Your symptoms look very similar to mine only with me I don't experience any pain but the exhaustion, I have definitely felt that lately.

  • i dont really know anything about this, but i have a question. does it hurt all over or just the stomak x

  • @OceanBlueSky1

mostly my stomack. my chest, my windpipe ....

  • i love your hair like this

  • i was diagnosed with a "movement disorder" 2 months ago, were still not sure exactly what it is

but i agree the rocking chair is so calming, i also tend to humm Alot, and i love the bus lol now i even sleep with 2 fans on high cos of the sound. i also have OCD tendencies, still recovering depression and my anxiety is beyond a joke, i got alot of problems LOL

yes the full body spasms can be really annoying but you have to laugh, though mine aren't as frequent as yours,

    thankyou for sharing :)

  • hey i was diagnosed with dyskinesia about 3 months ago now, yeah the rocking chair is so calming for me. also i tend to humm alot & i love the bus lol, & now i sleep with two fans in my room on high, cos the sound helps alot. i know how weird i am but these seem to help me, and everyones different :/

  • hospitals can be absolutely soooooooooooooooooooo stupid its unbelievable

  • seroquel is the devil. i hate hate hated it.

  • I'm a medical student, and seroquel, or any other atypical antipsychotic, or drugs like metoclopromide, levodopa, that increase dopamine levels, can cause tardive dyskinesia. However you may have already been predisposed to it. Have you ever had an MRI of your brain?

  • I suffered from temporary haliperidol induced tardive dyskinesia which is majoritively the dopamine based side of things. And Can i ask a question. You seem to display no oramorphic symptoms!!!! Whats up with that? U may just be really lucky. I dunno. If this is real i can relate. Jx

  • @therealJhiggins

I was diagnosed with Tourettes syndrome. It's a movement disorder as well.

  • also I reccomend meditation. try taking as long deep breaths as possible without forcing youself to hold and sit still as long as possible with your eyes closed.

just do it daily and work up to longer times. I eventually got up to 3 hours one time. Keep your mind focused without wandering. Just keep your mind empty or if you want focus on a single thing and count the number of times you drift of that thing.

  • I was taking resperidone for about 5 years and just recently stopped after having it lowered a bunch of times. if you can live with your symptoms and it doesn't get in the way of a job or school I would reccomend that. medication can cause diskensia.

  • if she was an old family friend, im gussing she would know about your condition, to tell you the truth i think this is a load of bullshit. you probably fake it because you must want the attention. stop posting youtube vids, i cant believe i wasted my time with this shit. and if you were really concerned you wouldnt make jokes about your "condition". oh and another thing, you always seem to spasm when you wait to show people.

  • @surrasurrasurra

    That's an interesting theory.

I do joke about my 'condition'. I joke a lot. I need to in order to deal and partly because it really is funny.

I dont always find it funny though. It can be really hard.

I was diagnosed with tourettes syndrome

You took a gamble. On one hand you could be exposing an attention seeker, but on the other you could be saying something really mean to a sick girl.

  • @idranktheseawater the calm way in which you responded to that person just shows how much more mature than them you are. i think you're brave having to deal with all this stuff

  • That is so strange, I've never seen that before. i do some weird stuff sometimes too like panic attacks when i think about death when it gets dark and i go to bed and im alone so my minds starts to wonder and i think of the day when i'll be old and its all gonna go dark. its really bad spasms and my chest hurts and i grab my shirt and pull on it and sometimes bit my finger and its hard to breath. so when i go to bed i got videos on my laptop to watch until i fall asleep so i dont have to think

  • why do you take risperidone

because you want to or they tell you to?

in one case or the other i would gradually stop risperidone

    better to be looney

    than dead

risperidone is shit . clogs dopamine receptors . are you susre you don't need your dopamine to go there. I think we need everything we have

stop being diagnosed ! haven't you realized they diagnose to have drugs to use and sell

i know it is difficult - just try

if you believe psichiatrists and doctors want really help you forget it

  • how often do these uncontrollable spasms occur? are the intervals random or are is there a pattern to them? what meds? benzos and thc ?

  • @mlit83

They happen every day at random times in random amounts. Sometimes dozens or other times hundred, and maybe even more. Depends on the day

I was diagnosed with Tourette's and I take Rispiredone.

  • @idranktheseawater You must have a very strong will to live. I'm just waiting to call it a life (as in call it a day).

  • I have low potassium again, which causes the same thing and odd cognitive impairments. Exercise hurts at first, but you have to. Just do it. Seroquel must lower potassium or cause some sort'of imbalance with it or it does in me. I'm eating enough calories now, and I'm still having problems. I'm having odd dreams too, like they were planted in me. I stuck my tongue out at them last night because they kept being psycho; I still don't have emotions.

  • i took haldol and that happened to me

  • ur cute

  • wow you're so cute. damn.. do you have a bf? lol. im so lonely. haha. id take benzos with you. if you wanted to do that. lol. :P. i sound pretty pathetic i bet. lol.

  • I had body spasms after my spinal cord damage... doctors dont know anything ! seriously. After 2.5 years i found out that im Hyperventilating.. all i have to do now to stop the spasms is breath slowly and deeply through my mouth..try it out

  • I think you're right that the medication caused or triggered your disorder.

  • @OrangeFluffyCat

I was told that it wasnt the meds, but im pretty sure it is. I was finally diagnosed with Tourettes Syndrome, but those symptoms started when I was on a high dose.

  • In my case, I have a movement disorder (paroxysmal kinesigenic dyskinesia) it is greatly improved by tegretol. I hope that you can find some relief soon. It's no fun to go through this.

  • you are so beautiful i wish i could be your boyfriend :/ im also taking seroquel... was just looking onyoutube about it and came accross this. i really hope things work outfor the best for you.

  • Do you think excersising might help?

  • @hot4art

    Thanks for the suggestion.

In my case, no. Exercise makes it worse.

  • @idranktheseawater You should still try working out your abs. Cuz if your stomach muscles are strong, it would absorb most if not all the impact of your spasms. Plus it might not be so severe once your muscles are tougher, cuz I believe it's severe because of the rapid tightening and relaxing of the muscles because of soft muscle tissues. If muscles are harder, there would be less room for it to get soft and hard and soft and hard. Please consider trying this one out. I have hope it might work.

  • have you ever been on an anti-psychotic, like risperadone, seroquel..., or had ECT?

  • @lxn271

I've been on Seroquel. I was on a high dose when this started.

My neurologist tells me that it's not dyskinesia though. It's Tourettes. He says that medication cant cause a tic disorder.

My theory though is that the tourettes has always been inside me but the Seroquel acted like a catalyst. Just a theory.

I did have an ECT. There was no sign of seizure disorder.

  • @idranktheseawater Sounds like he's just covering his a** from a potential law suit. I was on Seroquel and some other anti-psychotics to help with PTSD anxiety attacks and insomnia. I told him him, "If I develop TD, I'm suing you" without missing a heartbeat he said, "OK we're discontinuing those and let's start a low dose of Ativan"

    Tourettes my foot. That's TD.

  • @lxn271

Actually, my neurologist is not the one who prescribed the seroquel. I dont even think he and my family doctor have met.

My symptoms, especially now, do indicate Tourettes. I even make noises like for tourettes. They are getting increasingly worse.

  • @lxn271 Perhaps I missed the point, or part of the story--it's possible so do correct me if that is the case--but your response to the psychiatrist was like you saying "no" to the drug. As long as you are in good form coherent, very few (good) psychiatrists are going to put you on a substance that you are vehemently against taking.

  • thank you very much. .

    i will find a good neurologist . .

    thanks for the information. .

  • thanks for the idea. .

im suffering this unvoluntary body movements for 10 to 12 years . .

i suffered when i was a high school. . because i have involuntary neck movement. .

so they always teases me. .

i will go to a physician to know what medicine i can take to control my spasms. .

  • @SupremoUnderground

Hmmm....for spasms it could be good to go to a neurologist instead of a family doctor.

A neurologist knows a lot more about what you could have and what you should take for it.

  • wat medicine i can take without side effects? / /

  • @SupremoUnderground

I havent heard of a medication that doesnt have possible side effects. We can just try and find the ones with the least serious side effects.

Thats a question for your doctor.

  • I am supposed to start taking Seroquel literally tomorrow. I am super scared, and worried. I know this side effect isn't all that normal, but it does exist. What did you take instead of Seroquel?

  • @Neequu78

I still take seroquel but at a small dose. I'm told that the dose Im at cant give negative side effects.

Im told that it takes like.....20 years on high dose seroquel to get Tardive Dyskinesia, so its not easy to get that.

  • @idranktheseawater

I took my first one at noon today, and I passed out from 12:30 until 6:30. This is a low dose too, so how are you supposed to function during the day? I'm wondering if this will go away after a few days? I'm supposed to take another one tonight, so I dunno. :/

  • @Neequu78

Yeah, that happened to me in the begining too. It would knock me out and when I was awake I had a hard time talking cuz I'd forget words. But that went away after about a week.

  • WOW! This is difficult to watch. I just spent two weeks in-and-out of the hospital supporting a good friend of mine who had a Tardive Dyskinesia reaction to Seroquel. It caused uncontrollable whole body muscle spasms for 22 hours until her mom found her on the kitchen floor cut and bruised up from repetitively falling down. She broke two teeth from clenching her jaw. Now her kidneys have shut down from the spasms and she is on dialysis, possibly for life. That stuff is definitely dangerous!

  • @TheNotMeTube

Holy shit, that's horrible. My sympathies for your friend.

  • @idranktheseawater Its beyond horrible. Just celebrated her 25th birthday 2 days prior. Now she has a difficult time just trying to be a mommy to her 4-year-old.

I wish the best for you as well.

  • Have you had the proper testing done, kentic, EKG, EEG, ect? If these tests can't find the misfiring within the CNS then you DO have a psychogenic disorder. Myoclonic jerks, dystonic movements, and other dyskinesias can be properly diagnosed by a movement disorder specialist.

  • @eyedea81

I've been diagnosed by a neurologist now with a chronic tic disorder/Tourettes

    Thanks

  • forgive me :( then i suffer from anxiety disorder and i feel depressed too. At first I thought that you are acting and making laugh of these people, because theres a part where you are on the bed you were laughing and i said to myself this is fake!! Sorry if I hurted you with my bad words I didnt mean it !! but I really feel for these people believe me !!! peace xxx God bless you

  • @getfunky79

    Thank you for saying so.

I was laughing, yes. I have a habit of joking about most anything. Sometimes my movements make me laugh, and sometimes they make me cry. I try to keep a positive attitude though.

  • dont act !!!!

  • @getfunky79

Tell me what give you the impression that I'm acting. I'm curious.

  • fuck you bitch do not fuck with mental illness because everyone can be trapped in a sort of break down someday u should be ashamed of yourself fuckin bastard !!!

  • @getfunky79

    what are you talking about?

  • Did you ever think about doing yoga? I mean serious yoga, not the imitation you find in the western world. E.g. going to India for few months, to a good ashram (make your research first) and doing tough yoga with a real yogi for hours a day. Looking at your videos I have the feeling it might be a good thing.

  • what a sexy looking disorder!

  • I'm glad you've been diagnosed. I know how it is not knowing what's wrong with your body. I've had a skin rash/problem/whatever for about half a year now that niether my family doctor or my skin doctor could diagnose. Drives me crazy with itching, and people ask about my "rash". *sigh* So yeah, I know how the guessing game works and I'm happy that you got diagnosed.

  • i wouldn't worry about the spasms with regards to your public image,

'' those who mind dont matter and those who matter dont mind''.

  • You shouldn't mess around with peoples illnesses. This is shameless.

  • This is bullshit, she looks perfectly healthy. I've done research and worked with people that have dystonia and such deceases. This is complete and utter bullshit. I hope you find a better way of getting attention and it's not funny to fuck around with peoples illnesses.

  • @coolbaronweazle

You shouldnt assume things you know nothing about.

I've been diagnosed and I dont have dystonia. I have a chronic tic disorder.

I make no apologies for trying to guess what I had.

If I am bad for assuming I had dystonia, then what does it make you for belittling or dismissing my illness? It's people like you who make sick people feel like shit.

  • @coolbaronweazle

If you've "done research" you probably could spell "disease". I call bullshit.

  • @coolbaronweazle maybe she jus didnt show it in this video

    dont spread hate :)

    go outside

  • @coolbaronweazle I would think such an "educated" person as yourself would know how to spell diseases. The fact that she looks perfectly healthy means nothing. My husband is perfectly healthy when he is not having his dyskinesia episodes. Perhaps you should do some reading on Paroxysmal Diskinesia before you start posing as an expert. The use of profanity doesn't make you look any smarter either.

  • well i hope they fiqure out what it is and u get better melissa, they seem like they hurt. i twitch alot but its not nearly that bad. but i hope u get better! good luck!

  • i hope u recover from this what dose of seroquel were u taking, its good that there getting less

  • @sithXrebel

I was taking almost the maximum dose. It varied between 600 and 800 a day.

But I saw a neurologist more recently and he said it wasnt caused by medication. I have another appointment next Friday and Im supposed to be diagnosed. ;) I cant wait.

    Thanks for the kind thoughts

  • you are so pretty it's horrible to see you suffering like this :(

  • I hope you find out exactly what you have. I can relate because i went to docs for years before i ever got a diagnosis. I don't think your psych would be the one to start with though..maybe a neurologist or rheumatologist maybe?? I get leg spasms but believe it or not it was due to my lack of vitamin D who would of ever thunk that... anyway i hope you get some good results soon =)

  • I have the same thing (i have Paroxysmal Nonkinesigenic Dyskinesia). I've had it for 4 years now and i finally got a proper diagnosis about 3 months ago. stay strong. it will take a while to get the right diagnosis. my spasms happen a lot and on a daily basis. stay strong and dont let this ruin your life.

im an artist and its hard but I'm pulling through. look even with these terrible spasms i can try to make the best of it

  • I developed Tardive Dyskinesia after two months of low dose Geodon. I kept asking my psychiatrist if I had Tardive Dyskinesia and she said no. Finally went to a Neurologist who quickly identified it as Tardive Dyskinesia. Neurologists are the specialty that diagnosis movement disorders. There are some neurologists that specialize in Movement Disrders. I went to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. They were great. Good Luck and hope you won't stop until you find an answer.

  • That happens to me all the time except I like make a high pitched screeching sort of sound and when I do it my moms like "stop that!" and I'm like I can't and she's like don't lie to me. Oh and I noticed that you said that it stopped at 0:12 but it worked fine for me :D ...oh...it might be because I'm using my iPod haha ya...

  • the video always stops @ 0:12 i will never load ... i have a few computer soo .. i tried it on another and still wont load >.>

  • @HomeByMidnight

yeah, It doesnt work for me either, but for others it seems to, Dont know why.

I dont have it in my computer anymore so I cant re-upload it.

  • After seeing your video I found the courage to document stages of my movement disorder that has yet to be diagnosed on video. You are strong and beautiful! I admire your ability to speak your mind and share your stories.

    Thank you!

  • @rebco77

Im glad you did. I hope something good comes from it.
