Sunspots are not explosions of energy - they are concentrations of magnetic fields that actually emit less energy (that is why they are darker).

The other planets are not showing any signs of global warming.

The plot (5:35) of the temperatures over the last 1000 years is 20 years old of the temperature in central England, it was long ago superceded. Note the graph stops in about 1970 - why? because that is when the temperatures start to rise. NB there is no scale on the plot.

@Klewt Did you readt the article - one scientist claims of "hints" about a dozen different scientists from round the world says he is mistaken.

One (of many) problem with Addussamatov's idea is that we measure the solar energy output and its level has not change significantly for 30 years; the same 30 years that GW has increased rapidly.

Uhm... sun spots are not massive explosions, but concentrations of electromagnetic activity. He means sun flares, and sun flares aren't "as large" as the Earth or "even Jupiter", but hundreds or even thousands of times larger.

@tiatdivad CO2 is NOT the cause of climate change. That is a strawman argument put up by denialists. Noone has everclaimed it is the cause. It is however a feedback initially and then a forcing after. Milankovitch cycles are the main drivers of climate change. CO2 amplifies it. There is plenty ofprrof of that in the scientific literature if you look in the legitimate peer reviewed journals. Plants don't work better under increased CO2 in field studies. That is well documented.

For example, the site refers to John Casey's "Theory of Relational Cycles of Solar Activity" The use of the word theory here is fraudulant because it is not an established scientific theory. To become a theory, the hypothesis must be tested time and time again for many years and fail to falsified time and time again. The word 'theory' has been used ...

For a start, when I search a large number of databases e.g sciencedirect, EBSCOhost, wiley web of science, google scholar, I cannot find a single scientific publication relating to climate, solar physics, biology etc. For someone who claims to have " an established record of accuracy in climate change predictions..." this is very strange. he has written a non peer reviewed book

Especially those that try to tie Icke to something like, oh say, Fox News! Laughable! The only reason why climate change (global warming) is being pushed along is because Oil barons need to migrate to (renewable) nuclear energy. Don't hold your breath, nuclear fusion is not even on the horizon, we have to use breeder reactors, then to transit pebble bead, then to thorium fission reactors, and after all that trial and error we will star to use "clean" fusion energy.

That is if we survive occasional Fukushima like accidents and permaforst meltdown in northern Asia.
