The deregulation of our nation's economy started under Reagan, and there are countless politicians to place the blame on between then and now (including Phil Gramm, McCain's good friend and "former" economic advisor). If McCain is busy in Washington, maybe Palin could step in and do the debate. That would be good practice for what a Vice President is supposedly able to do at a moment's notice.
