both drivers were ready for pull. EVO waited a bit for GTR to line up. As EVO was spooling up with %30-40 throttle, GTR already got the signal and stepped on it maybe 0.1 second after EVO was 100% throttle.
On top end, GTR let off the throttle for a sec when he saw the right lane ahead of the EVO was full, then got back on it. But that pause widened the gap quite a bit :)
It is also illegal to modify a GTR according to the paperwork that you sign when purchasing it. I am telling you what GTR tuners have said, since alot of Evo X tuners also tune GTR's.
If you have never watched time attack racing, I recommend you do so before opening your mouth and sounding ignorant, watch time attack to see plenty of GTR's getting owned by Evos on an actual racetrack.
So before you say you can't compare this and that, just realize you're making yourself sound like a complete tool, how can you NOT compare 2 AWD turbo vehicles? Evo X has a better AWD system and the Evo X GSR 5 speed transmission is stronger than the GTR transmission, GTR is known for blowing trannies on the launch.

Look I'm not saying 4G isn't capable I was gonna buy a GS-T myself but there's a reason why LSx is so common in the drag racing scene even Europe or Asia where its not cheap.

Havent seen any engine limit testing done :) it should be doing fine on our case.. clutch failed last week, we are installing an exedy twin plate cerametallic..w/sport press plate.
Master clutch cylinder broke in half (its plastic, AMS sells a ring that holds it together) > fixed that issue > now pressure plate failed on the ACT :)
Exedy twin should be fine.. hopefully master cylinder will hold :)

Not sure about the Supras but a stock corvette will need major body modifications to take in more hp and then be able to drive on the streets
The 2litre 4g63's can withstand upto 1750hp
THere are evos using the same block to pump out 1200bhp and a few drag cars in US that pump out
