  • Lawsuit!? What? Oh...You mean a class action suit where the aggregate of American Black and Hillbilly music artists sue those who "borrowed" all their work? LIke the Rolling Stones? Please. This tune, in various guises was played in juke joints all over this land long before the Stones (who were, do doubt a great, great band) did their version. Let's keep it in perspective.

  • The Stones stole Honky Tonk Woman from Ry Cooder anyway

  • Hell, I like this band better than the Stones and this song better than Honky Tonk Women----and I'm an old fart, 56 !!!!

  • It's called homage, folks.

  • sounds like honky tonk woman, but there are some tune differences. i think it's the same style, mabey even the same sound, but nothing worth a lawsuit.

  • Great band..

Saw this guy on some video where he was teaching the neck bend.

  • come to think of it, it does sound a lot like honky tonk woman. perhaps a bit too much.....

  • its like chet atkins, jerry reed, and the rolling stones all rolled into one. This guy can really play. im impressed. but i wonder what it would sound like on a tele or a les paul?

  • why would the Stones sue the mother truckers???

  • From North California , with pride !

They can be found hanging @ the continental club in Austin !

Go down and have the time of your life !

    GO MOTHER TRUCKERS !

  • Well, I am definitely a solid fan.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they are from the northeast right?

When y'all gonna come to TEXAS?!?!

  • I'm surprised The Glimmer Twins have not filed a lawsuit for copyright infringement.

  • or the stones...

  • You are Bad Ass Mother Truckers.

  • Very very very talented musicians but I personally cant dig the style though the blond girl is a NICE touch to the band

  • Good beat, easy to dance to.I dig it!!

  • Excellent country bridge band. I'm surprise they don't have a record deal yet.

  • That dude's one hell of a chicken picker. Outstanding!

  • yay! truckers rock! this is a great song and zee again reminds us of his guitar god status.

  • Sounds great, very solid. Skynard meets the Stones.

  • heard this song on underground garage! Very awesome Very much an old Rolling Stones Vibe.

  • Steven Van Sant has been playing this song regularly on his radio show. (Outlaw Country "Honky Tonk Woman."

  • The Mother Truckers are the coolest band! Can't wait for the new CD in June. Keep rockin' the streets of Austin and beyond...
