when they invent time machines im going back to the 90s and i wanna see the urge and fragile play at mississippi nights. Then im jumpin off the king bridge since life could get no better.
This shit is taking me straight back to the early 90's when I got to see them at Mississippi nights a bunch of times! Always left sweaty and satisfied as hell from a great performance!
I saw them in 95' opening for 311 @Mars. To be honest when I saw the horns walk out on stage before the rest of the band I was like "I don't know about this". then 10 seconds into the first song they were blowing the roof off the building. Incredible energy and everybody was losing their minds in there. I'll Never forget that show.
@crapcircus01 Hey that's cool! The Urge was the first live act for me too lol I saw them open up for KoRn here in Dallas Texas back in '97! They killed it! I wasn't prepared for it lol They were so energetic moving around the stage in their formations the singer Steve sounded cd quality live he was very impressive! The venue they played at was perfect for them and KoRn, it was an indoor small arena so the bass and that drum kick was chest thumping! KoRn performed after and it was SICK!
they've been saying they are going to have a new album for YEARS..if they actually do it I'll be first in line to buy it and will fly out for any and all shows that they do but I'll believe it when I see it
@jdprocknow thats why I said 'if they actually do it' I realize that they've broken up twice now and they still haven't released any new stuff and probably won't with as much as Steve is performing on his own. Its a shame really
This song used to have folks swinging from the rafters @ Mississippi Nights. What an amazing live band...so much energy. You'd think you could just plug STL into their receivers and power the entire city.
They're recording a new album! Check out the first song, "Say Yeah"!

Is it just me, or does the guitar (with ring modulator) remind you of "Save Yourself" by Stabbing Westward with it's harmonics
