the littler box is on a freakin box, that fat cat probably cant climb up there to go to the bathroom! no cat is gonna jump onto the toilet seat only to use the littler box next to it.
@Raida85 I was trying to toilet train him... hence why his litter box was raised. He was doing really good with it but, much like his owner, got lazy and gave up.
@JupiterReturnz Both my cats are indoor cats. I live in an apartment on a main street downtown... so no poopin in the bush. I don't usually use cleaning products with their litter box. I usually top up with more litter when it gets low but if I do clean it out, I just use dish soap!

He did pee on one of my favorite handbags once because he won't go into the bathroom to use his litterbox while I am showering and I guess he just COULDN'T hold it for 10 damned minutes. He hadn't peed in almost 7 hours at that point because he was too busy sleeping in the living room.
I was pretty annoyed and angry with him. He knew it too, because I didn't even have to yell at him, he just ran off in shame as soon as I came out of the shower.
@SupaAmi Frigging cats eh? If one of my cats pissed in one of my handbags, I'd lose my shit!! :S Little bastards can be spiteful sometimes, that's for sure!
My cat goes outside to do it. She meows to let me know that she needs to go outside. The training was easy, all I did was shove her face in her own shit when she shitted in the house.
@kingkong8974 that's pretty mean, why get animals if you're just gonna abuse them like that when they're only doing it on accident bcuz they haven't even been toilet trained yet?

I work outta town and it's hard to get whomever is looking after my cat to keep up on the toilet thing. Likely another reason why he shits on the floor... cuz I don't see him much and when I do, that could be his way of getting my attention... :(
@SnapShow82 My cat used to use the toilet and flush before. It's cleaner and less messy than a litter box lol. Did you ever try training your cat using treats?
@kingkong8974 My cat's don't like treats for some reason. Every time I buy any (and I've bought several different kinds), they just stare at it, look at me as if to say, "mommy, what the fuck is this garbage you put in front of me" and go back to their regular food bowl. Little bastards are pickier than me!
@SnapShow82 mine too. In fact when I buy a new bag of cat food that's a different brand than the old one she'll not eat for a few days until she realizes that it's all she got to eat lol.

Do you use cleaning products to clean his litter tray? If you do you could put him off the tray as cats have a very strong sense of smell.
Otherwise let him out as often as he likes and poo poo in a bush. He is not an asshole, he's cool.
