That was a scary crash for a sand rail. I saw some comments saying the driver lost his hand or arm, but I hope that isn't true. That was such a violent roll that I doubt any level of safety equipment could prevent injury. I don't know what it is about people that post comments on Youtube that make them such ignorant pricks. You go to the dunes to have fun, but accidents still happen. I'm definitely going to be more careful in my rail from now on.

@Jperezo311 it didnt fail, but it looked like the shoulder straps maybe werent adjusted properly. when you roll a vehicle like that, it is extreemly violent. a normal shoulder belt like the ones in modern vehicles would have let him be ejected from the sandrail. the forces are just increadible in a wreck like that.
