in love to all i loved and that fly away but in my heart still alive and for they that coming for a new life***for my dear family and my dear friends*** i love you all so much***
Thanks for posting this. I love this movie. Burleigh Seaver singing Gloria, laus et honor tibi sit Rex Christe, sends chills up my spine every time I hear it...and Come Falda di Neve is one of the finest examples of Orlande DeLassus genius.
one problem is i was a bit dissapointed of whatever karras was possessed with, it wasn't even a demon, just some random serial killer. =(. I was hoping for some badass demon like pazuzu. Pazuzu would kick the gemini killers ass in less then a second. so yeah listen exorcist guys, demon possession is the best, not some random ghost killer possession.
@Nemesis2459 But in the movie The gemini killer possesses the nurse and goes to kill kinderman's family but fails. In the midst of things, the devil or pazuzu takes over Karras' body and thats when the exorcism begins.
this was a good movie, but not any of the other exorcist movies were as fucked up or as scary as the original, (exorcist II = epic fail =/). The orginal was the best, I hope they'll be another movie like the first, they don't have enough possession movies.
I read that you've three versions of this piece. I think I know which ones you're referring to. Are any of the mp3's, by chance, this particular recording? I'm not that computer savvy, and would like to be able to put this on my mp3 player if possible. I come back very often to listen. Thanks again!
No it's not Gloria, Gloria is the first part of the song which sing by the boy. It's very short. actually u can find diff version online. rest of it is Come Falda di Neve. Sorry about remove your comment, I clicked the wrong button
Wouldn't you know where i could find some music from the last Exorcist movie (Exorcist the Beginning) ? I'm especially looking for the end credits theme... Thanks for your help
I have such an emotional attachment to this piece, specifically this recording and fear that it can't be found. I deeply appreciate you putting it on. I study this stuff, so it's composed by Orlande de Lasso (or Lassus if you prefer) and it's the tenth "movement" from his cycle of spiritual madrigals called "Lagrime de San Pietro," or "The Tears of St. Peter." It's an extraorinary piece and I've been captivated with this recording for at least 15 years.
Exorcist 3 was great. To me it's the true sequel to The Exorcist. This theme is a very fitting way to end the movie. It's like a holy experience of sorts after enduring Hell itself.
