The way I see the guys is like this

Gary - The talent (he writes the songs, and takes most of the vocals)

Robbie - The singer (he's the popstar of the group. has the most mainstream voice of the lot and often takes the lead on the group's more poppy songs. I also believe him to be the most gifted voice)

Mark - The "alternative" one. (he has a unique baritone voice and is often used when songs need that unique edge)

Howard - The "average" one (very occasional leads. can sing, nothing special)

i love rob, but gary was always the more talented singer. robbie is ace tho, much better entertainer, and a great singer..

although gary is technically a better singer, today proves it coz robs lost his voice a bit thesedays and gary is stil the same, robbie was always the better package as a whole i think....

@beccullity I think Gary is the more all-round talent. But Robbie has the edge in vocals slightly. Robbie hasn't lost his voice. He's still as good. The only reason it seems Garry is better is cause he actually improved compared to how he used to sound. They're about equal now, and two completely different styles of vocal so impossible to compare. (yes, i'm a guy, and no I'm NOT gay...)
