I am new to beat making and learning as much as I can. It seems to me that you are a trained drummer if I'm not mistaken. I notice you have independence between your hands, rhythm, and timing down. My question to you is in two parts. 1) Are you a trained musician, and 2) how important or helpful is that to what you do?
