Tocchet got the EDGE/NARROW WIN for landing more and better in this nice tussle.

Tocchet started well,landing his typical short but sharp shots while Roberts started responding middle but failed to land anything(throwing a short flurry).

Towards the end it was Tocchets show mostly until he missed with one and goes down.

Not much adv by Roberts at the end.

Roberts only landed one nice punch as Tocchet landed several nice ones.

Roberts is a guy never known for just fighting in his career but when he did he was no push over. If there's one other guy I'd say whom was not known for dropping them but could really throw them, Shannan. Check out his career back in the day.

Both are respected power forwards but Tocchet in his Flyer years fought tougher guys than Roberts did in Calgary playing on Nieuwendyk's line. Tocchet is/was the much better fighter.

I dunno man - Roberts fought some nasty people in his day too. It's not like he picked out little guys. Shit I'd have either one on my team. Guys that could alternately score or kick your ass? Yes please! Hard call to make as they were a similar type of player. They were both as tough as nails.

Gary Roberts is a BAD MAN. Ben Eager is a punk. Eager has about 30 lbs and is about 15 years younger, and he got his butt beat. Eager wouldn't fight Laraque because he was scared. He thought Roberts would be easy because he's old. That's a punk move.
