Rmoney's dad = 1st MexicanAmerican (born in Chihuaha) to run for President
Mitt's family was so patriotic they fled to Mexico to evade US law
Mitt has many thousands of cousins (some still in Mexico) 'cause a few generations had 12 wives each
1 got shot by the husband of a lady that a Romney grandfather "married" (she was still married to another but since Mitt's line goes to a mormon apostle, he had god on his side till he got shot dead)
Immigration flip-flops, like others, are Rmoney LIES
Mormons and Fundementalists are both Christian sects. Also, Huckabee didn't graduate... and it wasn't Union or Harvard or Princeton or some other real seminary.... the "seminary" he attended is associated with the Southern Baptist Convention, which is only a fringe sect of Christianity. They don't even teach higher criticism at a "seminary" like that.... So in final analysis, he is not a Christian and he doesn't have a theology degree.
Regardless of WHY, the fact is people DON'T trust them. And the percentage of people who don't trust mormons hasn't changed in decades. Currently, 22% wouldn't vote for a mormon even if he represented their political party! Just one of many reasons Romney will lose to Obama.
As for WHY.... hmmmm.... Mormons claim a visit from god/jesus to joseph smith.... book of mormon is a huge issue (most believe it's fake), polygamy/sexism, racism, homophobia... long list!
1) REAGAN MADE SOVIET UNION DISSAPERED AND OPENED EYES TO RUSSIA NOW THEY ARE BECOMING CAPITALISTIC COUNTRY
2) BUSH WAS DRUNK MADE TWIN TOWERS COLLAPSED, KILLED 3000 AMERICAN PEOPLE AND MADE THE WHOLE COUNTRY TO HAVE POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER, NOW EVERYBODY IS
PARANOID THANKS TO REPUBLICANS
3) SPEND TOO MUCH TIME ON FUCKING LEWINSKY DRESS INSTEAD OF FOCUSING ON EUROPEAN UNION CREATED EUROS
OLD FART RON PAUL WILL SELL USA TO CHINA HE HAS NO RESPECT FOR THE GOVERNMENT!
Glenn does a lot of good, but that doesn't change the FACT that he believes in a provably and patently false religion. Glenn Beck and Mitt Romney believe they are going to become literal Gods and be given their own planets! This is true! If you want the truth about the Mormon Religion, you have to read this book!
CAN MITT ROMNEY SERVE TWO MASTERS? THE MORMON CHURCH VERSUS THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENCY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
All you need to know to stop Mitt Romney is in this book: “Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters?”.
It’s a must read if we are going to stop this flaming liberal dressed in Republican clothing. He has such deep pockets and has spent all of his time for the last 6 years raising money and greasing the palms in turn for their financial and grass roots and media support. Please spread this book far and wide in order to stir the American people to the truth on Romney.
Christianity = The belief that a cosmic Jew who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can save you from sins that are present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree. ... people actually take this literally in the 21st century
MrRegMackworthy, why so hateful, really as long as people have good hearts and intentions, who really cares all the details of what they believe. All religions have holes or things that can not be scientifically proven... that does not make anything NOT true, in fact science has been very wrong over the years... lets all just get along and not through judgments and names at one another and work towards a loving and accepting society... not just "tolerant".
@LoveNaturalSelection I'll tell you why. Because if people continue to stand by and allow these people who follow Bronze Age superstitions to ruin the world, then they are going to get us all killed in the name of complete bullshit. Technology is rising to the point where it only takes one religous wacko with the proper resources to trigger global disaster. I will not sit by under the banner of "tolerance" while mass mental illness aka religion destroys the world.
Let us not forget Mormonism is a home grown frontier religion, and reflects the attitudes of people of the 1800s in it's doctrine. Black people were seen as the cursed descendants of Ham and not be clergy in the church until 1978. Also their abuse of homosexuals, so common throughout the Jewish, Christian and Muslim world, led them to give inhumane electric shock treatments to homosexuals to change them. Gay Mormon youth have often found them themselves homeless often kick from their homes.
"I'm the one they always ask the religious questions to." Because, you are the one who includes it in your speeches and it deeply informs your policy decisions. When you choose to listen to religious fundamentalism instead of educated scientific research when it comes to the development of species, we question your reasoning ability. As president, you can't be an expert on everything, and you have to choose whose expertise you are going to listen to. It's a matter of judgement, or lack of.
They ask about your beliefs Mr. Huckabee because of your walking around like a God damn preacher all the time. You talk about your beliefs every Sunday on national television, that is why you're asked about them.
Its all those morm chicks I fucked. I had to charm the temple garments right off them. That was some pretty good pussy. You really don't understand the difference between "you" "you're" and "your" do you? Tell you what, you go brush up on the English language and then I'll tell you more about the morms and how their religion is a complete crock of shit started by a pederast con man in the 19th century. Deal?
@MrRegMackworthy You have just proven two things; you know very little about the LSD Church and you are so insecure with your sexuality you have to make up lies about girls you haven't had sex with. Any Mormon woman who has lived her life in the manner to be worthy of a temple recommend and has come to the stage in her life she would be wearing garments would never consider talking to a man of your vulgarity let alone getting within arms reach of you. There is no point debating an ignorant liar
Now that's not true. All you have to do to get some Morman gash is talk nice about the "prophet". Then tell them some bullshit about BYU being a great school and WAMMO, you're parkin the beef bus in Morman tuna town. Here's one of my best lines..."You know sweetie, Joeseph Smith was having sex with chicks when they were 15! You're two whole years older than that, so how about you shed those temple garments?" That's all it takes, they're wet and ready to go...

@Sk8er408 THATS IT?THATS YOU THE BEST YOU CAN DO.HAHAHAHAHAHAHA you and whats in your hand BOY ARE PATHETIC.see my mommy???iam to busy fucking yours.now what ?twinkie jew mormon lover teabagger.dance puupet dance
I'm guessing the hormone replacement theory is hard on you... I hear it hurts for your nutz to shrivel... but it must really hurt to have shriveled nutz ..shrivel up like that. Or have they fallen off and now you regret that choice?
"jew mormon lover" Wow... so original. Does that make you a boy lover?
What is he trying to say here? Why does Mitt get all the credit for being Religious when it's Huckabee that has all of the answers?? lol, I hope I'm misunderstanding him here
I have had it & never seen a President divide a country so deeply as Obama has. He was going to change Washington. You now see how that worked. Another financial "Bump in the Road" and what do you get Retired Seniors Scare tactics and more fingure pointing and blaming Republicans and the Bush Administration. If you voted for him in 2008 to prove you were not a racist and Proud to have a Black President,ok Done!, Now vote for someone else in 2012 to prove you are not and IDIOT!!! VOTE-M-OUT 2012.
MIke. First, I digress that you were asked more about your faith on the campaign trail than Mitt. The bible belt gave you a free pass whenever you campaigned in their jurisdicitons. Second, unlike Mitt, you made a lucrative, for-profit, career out of your faith. Hence, we Americans and independent voters did have a lot of questions for you.
Huckabee is a total jackass. At least he's not running this time, or he'd have to live with the embarassment of being totally trashed by Glenn Beck. And he'd have to explain why he pardoned a cop killer who went on to kill 4 more cops. And he'd have to explain why he destroyed all his records as governor.
HAHAHAHA Romney has no chance in hell at the presidency. He is the most fake piece of shit politician and everybody knows it. Huckabee would and already has destroyed him in a debate. Everyone knows Beck is a big mormon and so is Romney. Huge surprise when Beck supports Mitt, right? Beck loses all his credibility when he does.
@observer75 Do you have to use the sh-word?? That is just terrible. There are LADIES on these boards, you know. Do you swear in real life? What type of woman is going to want to date or marry a man who uses profanity?
Romney is a Mormon. In Mormon beliefs, black people are the enemies. Hello? Did you say White Power? Yep. That's what Mit Romney is, a Mormon. He's Illuminati like the rest. I'm convinced Dick Cheney is Satan, himself. It doesn't matter if you vote or not, things won't change til you bomb the Federal Reserve, set fire to the Bush homes, assassinate the Royal Family of Wales as well as every royal family in Europe.
I just hope Mitt Romney would be willing to run for President. He clearly doesn't need the money and knows economics far better than anyone currently in the US Government. My vote is for Romney 2012.
Its ironic because Joseph Smith built a huge cult by doing the exact same thing, lying. "Hey look at me, I'm Joseph Smith and I just ran several miles with 200 lb golden tablets. God only reveals things to me, but I'll tell you what he shows me. Oh yeah, god said its cool to have multiple wives even if they are underage like this 16 year old house keeper of mine I've been fuckin"
@MrRegMackworthy Umm you do realize he only had 1 wife? and people died a lot earlier back then due to disease and sickness so they got married at younger ages get your facts strait.
@doggysweep Joseph Smith had multiple wives. You probably don't know that that is accepted fact because you are stuck in the Mormon cult with no real access to information. Smith married LOTS of women, including the 14-year old Helen Mar Kimball who did NOT consent to being married. Try reading any literature not published by the Mormon cult.
@QueenieQue Yeah he did have multiple wives that is just something i was never taught. However we dont hide it from each other... Ohh and our church does not practice polygamy any more. I have read many books and reports on my "cult" and all the "facts" are grossly exaggerated. Also my church is not a cult, a cult is a group of people thats beliefs are abnormal and bizarre. While our practices are different they are not bizarre to an open mind.
@doggysweep To be fair one of your prophets "suddenly" had a vision that polygamy had to be stopped and said that it will be continued in heaven after death. Convenient change of church law at a time when the US Government was looking to step into the church-run state that is Utah. Officially the Mormon church doesnt support polygamy, but they turned a blind eye to it into the 70's and 80's, and even now ignore it as long as it is kept hidden. "bizarre" is not the definition of a cult...
@doggysweep - Of course you don't, I'm reasonably sure that anyone who did would leave the institution in question. My argument would be: Absolute authority: You have a "Prophet" who speaks directly to God and suffers zero accountability. ( Eg: Mountain Meadows massacre, some third rate nobody was sacrificed so the big wigs could get away with murder.)
No tolerance for critical inguiry: This is basic to all christian faiths, questioning the Holy Spirit is an "Unforgivable Sin"...
@OPE08 "Unreasonable fear about the outside world..." et, : You are "persecuted" for your faith, all other faiths, including ALL other Christian sects are wrong and headed for hell, "End Times" are perpetually "right around the corner"...
Group Leader has exclusive means of Knowing the Truth: Again, your Prophets converse directly with God, Jesus, and Joseph Smith....
Doesn't make Mormons bad people, but like I said, "Belief colors your actions"...
@OPE08 you really have a sick and twisted view on the mormons,it is not that bad as you are trying to make it out to be,you really look like an idiot when it comes to explaining mormon beliefs!
@OPE08 yes he does how how do you think the prophets of old got revelation,he is following the same pattern so according to your logic Christ ran a cult back when he was on the earth.
@getdownto311 - No, actually, according to the most commonly accepted signs of a cult, if Jesus lived and taught the way he is claim to have then it wouldn't be considered a cult. But that wasn't my point. you said I had "sick and twisted" views on Mormonism, but if everything I said was true, how is that so?
@doggysweep I am a former christian myself, so I like to think I know quite a bit about the older faiths, although I am by no means as well educated as I'd like. Religion and churches have always fascinated me, and while I no longer believe I continue to find the entire subject one of my favorite. Information on the Mormon church, of course is gathered from books and articles, documentaries, I was a history major, and comparing with basic human nature. No different than any other knowledge.
@OPE08 Have you ever actually asked a mormon in real life what our church is about? I dont trust a single source on the internet or books about my church other then what i am told by other members or i have found out on my own through prayer.
@doggysweep _ yes, I have spoken with many Mormons, I have three very nice mormon co-workers, and one of my best friends from High School is mormon.
Not trusting outside sources of information is a terrible personal choice, although not an uncommon one, and only serves to strengthen the claims of "cult" against your church, its dogma, and leaders.
Cutting yourself off from the world around you and thousands of years of history and thought is terribly sad.
@OPE08 I never said i cut myself from the outside world. I'm only talking about how most things on the internet that are "Facts" about my church are either grossly distorted from what we really teach or flat out lies.
@OPE08 oh so those are your definitions of a cult haha gotchya!,the church doesnt disclose financial information to the public why should they?,there isnt absolute authority in the church, everyone has a choice man! you are making a mountain out of entire mole hill!.
@getdownto311 - No, those are some pretty classic definitions.
LDS Followers believe that their leader speaks directly to God, Jesus, Joseph Smith, or any combination of the above, and yet you want us to believe there is some level of democracy?
You DO have a choice, but the average church member has been indoctrinated into their faith since birth, and has little or no real support on making a "choice", and certainly little access to info, unless they sneak out for it.
@getdownto311 Good. I would hope that a Mormon would find my view not credible, otherwise I wouldn't be expressing my perspective properly enough. However, just so you know, most respected theologians consider Mormonism to be a cult. And, so you know that I'm not discriminatory, I find all religion to be untruthful and delusional. But Mormonism is paradoxically stupid and sinister.
@QueenieQue how is ti stupid and sinister how did you come to that conclusion such outrageous nonesense??,theologians dont get to define who we are despite being "qualified" on the subject of religion, you just shot yourself in the foot here "so you know that I'm not discriminatory" "But Mormonism is paradoxically stupid and sinister" your a liar!
@doggysweep - It's well documented the Smith had more than 20 wives, and Young over 40. The shorter lifespan in that era was due more to the hideous infant mortality rates than from early death, although its so commonly believed that 40 was considered old age, it wasn't.
I'd ask you to look at the ages of all the original Mormon Leaders, even all American politicians in general going back to the Revolutionary War, all lived into their 70's and 80's...
I care because I'm tired of people who will have access to nuclear weapons, i.e. the President, being followers of complete bullshit. I don't want to die in a nuclear explosion because some dipshit believes his or her "god" wants them to nuke something. We're lucky in this country to have escaped the reign of George W Bush without a holy war on our own soil.
@MusicCoversPlus because what you believe effects how and what you do. It's great that "mormons are good people", but history has shown time and time again that Religion is the one thing powerful enough to make a good man do evil.
I care because I don't like the idea of a man who thinks "colored skin" is a mark from god, or believes in a book that says slavery is okay and homosexuality is to be punished by death via stoning running the country I live in.
@MrRegMackworthy its ironic that a jackass named mrresmacworthy, doesnt know shit about the mormons so he has to put his own spin to it,your a piece of shit!
@getdownto311 First off shit for brains, my name is MrRegMackworthy, not "mrresmacworthy". And if you wanted to call me a piece of shit, you should have used "you're" not "your". And lastly, I know more about the Morms than most. So now that we've established you're a dumb fuck. Lets move on to the dumb fuck religion of Mormanism. How about the "prophet" running several miles with gold tablets that would have weighed 200lbs. Care to defend that action? How about the magic underwear?
@MrRegMackworthy HAhahahahaha! so what do you know more than me?enlighten me if you will, really what business is it of yours to find out what kind of underwear people are wearing you perv! your a creeper!
@MrRegMackworthy hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaha! What a moron. In fact Joseph record that he walked most of the way, and ran a short time, and rested multiple times. Got get your tripe somewhere else. Same thing with your magic underwear. Yes Mormons wear white underclothing that equate to a white undershirt and white briefs in style, with special meaning but they don't thing they're magical. You antis are all the same. Idiots tricked by such easy to see lies.
@PierzStyx That's fucking rich. A morm calling anyone an idiot who has been tricked is indeed high comedy. Okay wise guy, where are those golden tablets that good ole Joe carried all that way? Can we take a look at them today? Surely that would qwell all the doubters. Why not put them on display? Hum? I'm going to start my own religion too where I can fuck a bunch of other peoples wives and everyone belives all my lies no matter how fucking stupdi they are. No taxes is a perk too.
@MrRegMackworthy You're so foolish. I know what happened to the plates. Joseph was always clear about that. And he wasn't the only one to see them 3 others saw the angel and were given the plates directly by him. 7 others were shown the plates directly by Joseph to see. His wife Emma picked them up and felt them. Another lady was shown them by the angel herself in response to her sacrificing for the Prophet. And in the end God took them again to Himself.
@PierzStyx It really is amazing because the same thing happened to me. The other day a platinum set of plates fell from the sky. I'm the only one who saw it and it was in a strange language no one could read except me. It said everyone in the world should give me $10. So far no one belives it. I guess the problem is the tablets magically disappeared when "God" took them back. I guess he needed something to read on the toilet.... Go figure.
@MrRegMackworthy Except Joseph had 12 others who saw the plates directly. 3 saw the Angel Moroni himself and were given the plates by him to read and hold and see. 7 others were given the plates directly by Joseph & did the same. 1 other was shown the plates by Moroni and held them and turned the pages all by herself. At least 20 others who felt and lifted them, even feeling the separate pages while they were wrapped up. None, even those who left the church ever denied it. Can you say the same?
@PierzStyx No I can't say that. But then again, I have not started my cult yet. And I don't talk to magical tablet wielding angels that no one else can see. I also don’t receive magical eggs from the Easter Bunny. How about this, next time you're talking with Moroni, tell her to show me the plates too. I'd love to see them. Do we have a deal?
@MrRegMackworthy None of that matters though. You wouldn't know they were anymore true today if they existed. You wouldn't know just by looking at them if Joseph had really translated them. You wouldn't know any better than you can know now. If you had them you'd still say the Book of Mormon was made up even if he was using a real ancient text he found somewhere to back up his "story". The book's truth doesn't hinge on their presence, it hinges on if it is from God. It is and that is the truth.
@PierzStyx God damn, you religious wackos kill me. It’s so fucking funny how you quickly get infuriated when someone questions your particular line of bullshit. You fervently defend good ole Joey Smith and his harem with the magical disappearing tablets. On the other hand, if you were asked about Mohammed and his rag head line of bullshit, you'd call it crazy. You are weak minded fools who are afraid of death. You need a fairy tale to assure you things are going to be alright for you.
@MrRegMackworthy Except you'd be wrong. LDS recognize that one can be inspired by God without being called to exact prophethood. I have no problem believing Mohammed had legit spiritual experiences that he recorded in what became the Koran. There is a lot of truth there. That is why people flock to the religion founded from his writings. If you're best argument is simply to spew hatred almost incoherently and ignore valid points then you're the weak minded one, not me. I know the truth.
@PierzStyx Mohammed the dune coon didn't write or record anything. He was illiterate. So since you know the truth and have a direct line to "God", do me a favor. Have God contact me. He's swept up greater sinners than me, surely he can spare a moment to speak to me. Okay? I'll be waiting with an open heart and ears.
@PierzStyx How do you "know" this is the truth? Do you talk to God? If your answer is yes, then you're lying and or crazy. More likely you were born into Mormonism and your parents trained you? You accuse me of incoherent spewing of "evil". But when you’re pushed for proof aka coherence, you religious lunatics fall short. You start incoherently yammering on about fairy tales that have no basis in reality and cannot be proven. How dare you to accuse me of being incoherent, you hypocrite.
@MrRegMackworthy Wrong again. I joined the LDS Church well into my adult years and none of my family were members. I spent my early years between agnosticism and not caring. But randomly got connected with some missionaries, talked to them, and desired to learn more. As I learned more, I prayed for the first time and talked to God. He answered me to in my thoughts and feelings. I knew then for myself, not of anyone else that the BoM is true,Joseph Smith was a Prophet, and the LDS Church is true.
@MrRegMackworthy You are near incoherent .All you do is spout furious hatred and condemn what it is clear you have no understanding about. Your "facts" are wrong and your assumptions are even wronger still. I'm not the one infuriated. You are. I question your actual knowledge of not just my beliefs, but your own. Someone who firmly believes in what they say doesn't have the knee jerk defensiveness and hatred for those who disagree that you display. Its a sign of weak convictions and a weak mind.
@PierzStyx Lets clear something up. I don't spew anything and my logic and sentence structure are flawless. Secondly, you believe in a fairy tale invented by a con man. You base your entire life on this con game and pour your money into the "church". You will live your entire life believing that when you die you will ascend to heaven to join your heroes. This will no doubt give your feeble mind a sense of comfort. The only problem is, nothing will happen when you die. You're just worm food.
@PierzStyx Here's another problem with religion in general but specifically if Mit Romney were to be president. In 1857 you Morms slaughtered 140 Baptists from Arkansas who were families headed to California in the Mountain Meadow Massacre. I admit Baptists are annoying, but I wish them no ill will. In 2011, we have nuclear weapons. As president, Mit could take the same initiative and wipe out say 140 million; although it would be tough to try to blame in on the Indians this time.

@PierzStyx There are a few more things to clear up. I don't hate you, I think your religion is going to get us all killed or at the very least decrease my quality of life. It’s not just you Morms, its all religion. Calling your religion what it is, which is false and un-provable is not a knee jerk reaction of hatred. That is the classic religious counter argument. "If you don't 100% agree with my religion, you 100% hate me and my religion". It’s why Fox News sells so well to religious wackos.
@MrRegMackworthy Its not about agreeing w/my faith 100%. 90% of my friends don't. Its that you don't understand that using hate language, such as degrading those who disagree with you as "wackos" and that lumping all religious people into one group and then labeling that group dangerous without proof, IS bigotry and hateful in and of itself is disturbing. You couldn't succeed by attacking me, now you're trying the victim route. Going from what is here I can tell you're nothing but a demagogue.

LOL, a morm calling me a biggot! Now that is funny. You folks wouldn't let blacks into your version of heaven as anything except slaves until the 1970s. What happened there? Was good old Joe Smith wrong about the darkies? Gasp! And how about all the genocide in the bible? Care to explain that? You people are all very dangerous and we'll be lucky if you don't get us all into a nuclear war; all in the name of bronze age superstition. Good job wackos.
@asglo17 I will, thank you. That's very christian of you to inform me in such a nice manner. I hope my post didn't hurt your poor little christian feelings. :(
@MrRegMackworthy who says I'm a Christian? It merely offends me that you attempt to argue with folks on the basis that they're ignorant and less than intelligent... and you can't spell a simple term! Hope I didn't hurt your poor little simpleton feelings! :)
@asglo17 Now asglo, you know that to deny christ is the only un-forgivable sin, right? If you're a christian, which I'm sure you are, you'll want to be very careful with phrases like "Who says I'm a christian?" You wouldn't want you to end up in hell with me, would you? And by the way, you're supposed to capitalize the first letter of a sentence. You failed to do that. I'm just giving some simpleton punctuation advice. Also, if you're attacking someone's grammar, make sure yours is perfect.
@MrRegMackworthy, since your name is actually the subject of address in my sentence, it would be foolish to re-capitalize the second word! You are correct, I should have had a comma. I apologize. And you were SO close! It's actually the Holy Spirit (some religions say "Holy Ghost") who you can't be forgiven of denying. But I got your meaning, so I'll give you credit for trying! One day maybe you can be a big boy and have no factual errors at all! :)
@asglo17 At least you can admit you fucked up your grammar. That's a start. Ever hear of the holy trinity? Its the essential cornerstone of being a christian. If you deny being a christian, ipso facto you have denied the holy spirit. I know its hard for someone who bases their entire life around Bronze Age superstitions to expand their horizons and draw objective conclusions. However, you must try if you're going to continue to pretend to be an intellectual. Perhaps you should pray about it? lol
@MrRegMackworthy don't forget, not all Christians believe in literal oneness of the trinity. Research it and let me know what you find! But really don't... because you have got to go live your life! You only have 60 or so more years (I assume you're a teenager) before you fade into blackness and cease to exist (according to your beliefs)! Since I have eternity, I can AFFORD to waste time talking to the likes of you on YouTube... But you good sir... Go live life! It's short (well, for you)! :)
@asglo17 Indeed, life is short. I only have about 35 years left according to your estimates. I have better things to do than dwell on the minutiae of fairy tales. The great thing about you wackos is when you die, you'll never know the difference. You'll die, nothing will happen and you will have never known. As for me, I cannot live in such willful ignorance and I'm not motivated by fear. But don't let me stop you from wasting your existence following a mega cult. I’m sure ignorance is bliss.
@MrRegMackworthy Not true. It is true black people weren't allowed to serve in the Priesthood. But they were still baptized and allowed exaltation in Heaven. They aren't there as "slaves" but as equals, even before 1970 when the Priesthood was extended to everyone worthy male. The LDS Church has historically always been against slavery. There is no genocide in the Bible. Yes many people die in wars, even entire cities. But that is not genocide, and neither is it murder since it was warfare.
@PierzStyx 1 Samuel 15:2-3 This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘I will punish the Amalekites for what they did to Israel when they waylaid them as they came up from Egypt. 3 Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy[a] all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.’”
@PierzStyx 1 Samuel 15:2-3 is only one of many examples of genocide in the bible. And I'm sure the Jews would disagree with your version of genocide. World War II was a war, and the Nazis committed genocide on the Jews. By your definition, they didn't. Then there was the time with "god" killed everyone on the planet except noah and his magical boat. And who could forget the loving story of "god" killing all the babies in Egypt. What a loving "god" indeed.
@PierzStyx Oh, so murder is okay in warfare? What's the definition of warfare? Is that where "god" tells you to go slaughter a bunch of people because they didn't agree with your religion? Because that's how the bible defines it. I'm sure you have different definition and I'd love to hear it. When is it okay to murder? Please give an example. Was it okay when you morms dressed up like Indians and killed all those baptist men, women and children in the Mountain Meadows Massacre?
@MrRegMackworthy You show a classic anti-religionist's lack of knowledge about the Bible and history. Yes, some Mormons once did kill some people, and their leader was caught, stood trial, and was executed. If that's all you got then its laughable. Every group has bad members in it, but that doesn't make the entire group evil. Again your attempt to condemn all LDS by the actions of a few over 100yrs ago shows bigotry. Bet you think all Germans are Nazis & all black people belong in jail too.
@PierzStyx You didn't answer the fucking question, did you Jr? You brought up Nazis and black people in jail? Seriously? Is that your way of dodging my question? Once again, when is murder okay? Millions and millions of people have been murdered in the name of religion. I'm asking you when is it okay? Don't reply back with anything else. Especially something as intentionally off point as freaking Nazis. Maybe you should pray about it and tell me what "god" says to you.
@MrRegMackworthy Perhaps you don't know how to read or you comprehension is low. My post 1 wk ago answered your question before you even asked it. Murder is never ok, but killing in warfare is not murder. As for "millions of deaths" by religion, let me enlighten you to some facts. Secularism killed 12 million by Nazis, 50-78 million in USSR, 45 million in China, 2 million by Khmer Rouge. That's over a billion people within 40yrs secularism has murdered, and that is only naming the famous ones.
@PierzStyx God damn you're slow, it took you one week to come up with that? Pathetic. Let me dumb it down for you Junior. Don't dodge the fucking question for the 4th time with more erroneous statistics. What is the difference between warfare and murder? Obviously its a state of war, but what decides that state? According to the genocide in the bible its when a group angers "god" all mighty. BTW, Hitler was a christian and all those regimes you named didn't kill in the name of secularism.
@MrRegMackworthy Hitler wasn't a Christian. He was raised as one, loosely, but stopped attending church long before he ever serve in WWI. By the time he became Fuhrer he had renounced religion and embraced science as the basis of Nazi ideology. Darwinian evolution was the basis for his idea that the German people could become a master race if they eliminated all the weaker races they breed with, much like you breed dogs and horses.
And again there isn't any genocide in the Bible. Genocide is the deliberate extermination of an entire race based on their race identity. Not once does that happen in the Bible. Perhaps if you stopped listening to other people and read the book for yourself you'd know that. Do the world a favor and develop your own opinions instead of parroting back the hateful idiocy that you've been told. Think for yourself.
@PierzStyx What the fuck ever moron. You're like talking to a robot. Exactly whom is it that told me there was genocide in the bible? It was me, I read the god damned thing 4 times over before I was 12 years old. Don't tell me to think for yourself, when you're in a mother fucking cult. I get so tired or moronic bullshit like yours. How about you do the world a favor and think for yourself. Quit that fucking cult that programs you and form your own ideas.
Your argument is the last resort of a weak mind. I present cohesive statements, and even FACTS. All you do is rail against me but never presenting any facts to back up your claims. I'm not the one being controlled here, or a "robot". You're the 1 who keeps repeating the same false claims. B/c you said so is not a reason to believe you. You already admitted your ignorance about LDS I find your claim about reading the Bible suspect as well. And I'm certain you never read it seeking understanding.
@PierzStyx Okay, you're right. I want to join up. I'll have to cancel with the Easter Bunny first. When I'm done I'll call you. You don't call me. K. Tell jesus, all the unicorns and other imaginary creatures I say hello next time you talk to them. Fuck off.
You can't see that what you hate in religion isn't religion, its the weakness of humanity, its brokenness showing through. People can and do use anything from religion to science in order to justify their evils. But it is neither the fault of science or religion that people act evilly. What your anti-religion blinders do is blind you to all the good religion actually does do in the world. Read the book "American Grace". It is a book reporting on a study done that shows this very fact, and more.
And everyone I named killed because they were secular, often aiming directly at those who were religious. Nazi Germany, the USSR, and Red China are all perfect examples of this. Religion was a threat to their power since it made people trust in something other than the state, so they exterminated religion, or tried to do so. Millions on millions on millions literally died because the atheists felt threatened by faith. Also, I noticed u changed topic there. Afraid your ignorance about LDS showed?
@PierzStyx Who gives a shit, here's what I know about the LDS. It was invented by a con man who had very poor writing skills. Here's what I know about you. You're fucking dumb enough to devote your entire life to it. I'm done done talking with a simpleton who thinks jesus the magical jew came over to visit the native americans. I think I will go talk to someone who believes the tooth fairy is real and bases their financial future upon getting money under their pillow.
@MrRegMackworthy So you admit you don't know anything about the LDS? Then on what grounds do you have any right to criticize? What facts do you have to back up your opinions? What knowledge informs your views? If all you have to go on is your ignorance and anger, then why should anyone ever listen to you? How can you even know it was "invented by a con man" if you've never studied it yourself? You can't. You know nothing sir, and thank you for admitting it.
As for you, I can see this is at an end. And that is good. I apologize for my anger and jerkiness. I hope one day you're able to let go of the hate in your heart. Its poisonous and destructive. If in person you're anything like you are on here, then I fear it already has poisoned your life in some truly sad ways. I hope one day you will be humbled enough to come to Christ and build a relationship with Him and be healed. He is real. He loves you. I know its true and hopefully one day so will you.
@TheKinderhookPlates We live in a world of faith, don't forget that. There are not facts for everything. I am not sure if you understand but everyday you live by faith. So why is it so hard for you to understand how Christians live by faith In Jesus Christ?
a world of faith? Hell no! You might, but I sure don't. I've heard that silly claim by christians before, that we all live in a world of faith. Wrong. For example, when we expect the sun to come up, that's a reasonable expectation based on past knowledge and experience... not faith.
You have some more studying to do. We DON'T live in a world of faith... don't forget that! Only some of you do...and even then you don't know what is faith and what is not.
@TheKinderhookPlates We do live in a world of faith I won't ever forget that. And everyone lives in this same world not just some. I do know what faith is thank you very much.
@TheKinderhookPlates OK I will give you examples but because you are so set in your beliefs it won't mean anything to you...Buying a house, yes you take a leap of faith because if you lose your job or something else comes up you will be in big trouble...Driving is a leap of faith, accidents happen all the time...Getting married takes a leap of faith...buying into the Stock market takes a leap of faith, there are so many examples. Adopting a child from a foreign country requires a lot of faith
What a lousy response! Seriously? Those aren't examples of faith. They are reasonable expectations based on past experiences. Don't you understand the difference?
@TheKinderhookPlates Starting your own business takes a big leap of faith. Listen you can think what you want, its fine but the reality is we have faith in so many things in this world today. You don't see it as faith but that is exactly what it is.
No, you're wrong again. Someone starts a business because they know, based on observation and either their experience or the experiences of others, that there's a reasonable expectation that they will be successful. That has nothing to do with spiritual faith. It's shocking that you don't understand the difference... and pathetic, really.
@PierzStyx In the 1920s, Hitler’s Nazi Party adopted a “Programme” with twenty-five points (the Nazi version of a constitution). In point twenty-four, their intent clearly demonstrates, from the very beginning, their stand in favor of a “positive” Christianity: “We demand liberty for all religious denominations in the State, so far as they are not a danger to it and do not militate against the morality and moral sense of the German race." The Party stands for positive Christianity"
@MrRegMackworthy And the Communist Party of the USSR cut a deal with the Orthodox Church too. But that doesn't make it any less atheist. It was propaganda. You don't want to upset the people before your power to grind their freedom below your heel is absolute. "Positive Christianity" to the Nazis was subservient to the state, another arm through which it could promulgate its lies. Any Christian leader who spoke out was crushed beneath the Nazi jackboot and thrown into a death camp.
@PierzStyx You just don't get it. You're intelligent enough to know of all these historical attempts at control, yet you think your religion today is some how different. There is no reasoning with someone who cannot apply reason to themselves. I'm sure if your morm leaders told you to go kill, you'd do it and feel justified. And just because Nazi's killed christians doesn't mean they are not christians. Look at Ireland. The mics have been slaughtering each other in gods name for ages.
@MrRegMackworthy And just because Protestants and Catholics have been killing each other in Ireland doesn't mean the Nazi movement wasn't at its head an atheist one. "There is no reasoning with someone who cannot apply reason to themselves" Couldn't have better said it myself. You have willfully made yourself blind and deaf to it. Why am I a member? Because the church and its teachings are TRUE, from God. The Church stresses agency, everyone chooses for themselves. I choose to follow God.
@PierzStyx Religion when practiced, is a blessing to the world. The greatest charities are all religious charities. Religion seeks to lessen the pain in the world, and bring peace. It has been used at times for wicked actions, but then it wasn't truly religion's fault just as much as secularism isn't truly responsible for so much death and destruction. Its the animal nature of humans to abuse and hate. God changes that though, when we let Him. The process of that change is the heart of religion
Faith - believing without evidence. No thanks.

As for WHY.... hmmmm.... Mormons claim a visit from god/jesus to joseph smith.... book of mormon is a huge issue (most believe it's fake), polygamy/sexism, racism, homophobia... long list!

Christianity = The belief that a cosmic Jew who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can save you from sins that are present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree. ... people actually take this literally in the 21st century
ab330 3 months ago
MrRegMackworthy, why so hateful, really as long as people have good hearts and intentions, who really cares all the details of what they believe. All religions have holes or things that can not be scientifically proven... that does not make anything NOT true, in fact science has been very wrong over the years... lets all just get along and not through judgments and names at one another and work towards a loving and accepting society... not just "tolerant".
LoveNaturalSelection 3 months ago
@LoveNaturalSelection I'll tell you why. Because if people continue to stand by and allow these people who follow Bronze Age superstitions to ruin the world, then they are going to get us all killed in the name of complete bullshit.

When you choose to listen to religious fundamentalism instead of educated scientific research when it comes to the development of species, we question your reasoning ability. As president, you can't be an expert on everything, and you have to choose whose expertise you are going to listen to. It's a matter of judgement, or lack of.

MrRegMackworthy 8 months ago
@MrRegMackworthy Umm you do realize he only had 1 wife? and people died a lot earlier back then due to disease and sickness so they got married at younger ages get your facts strait.
doggysweep 8 months ago
@doggysweep Joseph Smith had multiple wives. You probably don't know that that is accepted fact because you are stuck in the Mormon cult with no real access to information. Smith married LOTS of women, including the 14-year old Helen Mar Kimball who did NOT consent to being married. Try reading any literature not published by the Mormon cult.
QueenieQue 7 months ago
@QueenieQue Yeah he did have multiple wives that is just something i was never taught. However we dont hide it from each other... Ohh and our church does not practice polygamy any more. I have read many books and reports on my "cult" and all the "facts" are grossly exaggerated. Also my church is not a cult, a cult is a group of people thats beliefs are abnormal and bizarre. While our practices are different they are not bizarre to an open mind.
doggysweep 7 months ago 2
@doggysweep To be fair one of your prophets "suddenly" had a vision that polygamy had to be stopped and said that it will be continued in heaven after death. Convenient change of church law at a time when the US Government was looking to step into the church-run state that is Utah. Officially the Mormon church doesnt support polygamy, but they turned a blind eye to it into the 70's and 80's, and even now ignore it as long as it is kept hidden. "bizarre" is not the definition of a cult...

# Unreasonable fear about the outside world, such as impending catastrophe, and persecutions.

# The group/leader is the exclusive means of knowing "truth" or receiving validation, no other process of discovery is really acceptable or credible.

@doggysweep - Of course you don't, I'm reasonably sure that anyone who did would leave the institution in question. ( Eg: Mountain Meadows massacre, some third rate nobody was sacrificed so the big wigs could get away with murder.)
No tolerance for critical inguiry: This is basic to all christian faiths, questioning the Holy Spirit is an "Unforgivable Sin"...
...
OPE08 6 months ago
@OPE08 "Unreasonable fear about the outside world..." et, : You are "persecuted" for your faith, all other faiths, including ALL other Christian sects are wrong and headed for hell, "End Times" are perpetually "right around the corner"...
Group Leader has exclusive means of Knowing the Truth: Again, your Prophets converse directly with God, Jesus, and Joseph Smith....
Doesn't make Mormons bad people, but like I said, "Belief colors your actions"...
OPE08 6 months ago
@OPE08 you really have a sick and twisted view on the mormons,it is not that bad as you are trying to make it out to be,you really look like an idiot when it comes to explaining mormon beliefs!
getdownto311 6 months ago
@getdownto311 How exactly is that "sick and twisted"?? Was I incorrect? Does your Prophet not talk to Jesus?
OPE08 6 months ago
@OPE08 yes he does how how do you think the prophets of old got revelation,he is following the same pattern so according to your logic Christ ran a cult back when he was on the earth.
getdownto311 6 months ago
@getdownto311 - No, actually, according to the most commonly accepted signs of a cult, if Jesus lived and taught the way he is claim to have then it wouldn't be considered a cult. But that wasn't my point. you said I had "sick and twisted" views on Mormonism, but if everything I said was true, how is that so?
OPE08 6 months ago
@OPE08 Tell me were do you get information on my church?
doggysweep 6 months ago
@doggysweep I am a former christian myself, so I like to think I know quite a bit about the older faiths, although I am by no means as well educated as I'd like. Religion and churches have always fascinated me, and while I no longer believe I continue to find the entire subject one of my favorite. Information on the Mormon church, of course is gathered from books and articles, documentaries, I was a history major, and comparing with basic human nature. No different than any other knowledge.
OPE08 6 months ago
@OPE08 Have you ever actually asked a mormon in real life what our church is about? I dont trust a single source on the internet or books about my church other then what i am told by other members or i have found out on my own through prayer.
doggysweep 6 months ago
@doggysweep _ yes, I have spoken with many Mormons, I have three very nice mormon co-workers, and one of my best friends from High School is mormon.
Not trusting outside sources of information is a terrible personal choice, although not an uncommon one, and only serves to strengthen the claims of "cult" against your church, its dogma, and leaders.
Cutting yourself off from the world around you and thousands of years of history and thought is terribly sad.
Cheers
OPE08 6 months ago
@OPE08 I never said i cut myself from the outside world. I'm only talking about how most things on the internet that are "Facts" about my church are either grossly distorted from what we really teach or flat out lies.
doggysweep 6 months ago
@OPE08 oh so those are your definitions of a cult haha gotchya!,the church doesnt disclose financial information to the public why should they?,there isnt absolute authority in the church, everyone has a choice man! you are making a mountain out of entire mole hill!.
getdownto311 6 months ago
@getdownto311 - No, those are some pretty classic definitions.
LDS Followers believe that their leader speaks directly to God, Jesus, Joseph Smith, or any combination of the above, and yet you want us to believe there is some level of democracy?
You DO have a choice, but the average church member has been indoctrinated into their faith since birth, and has little or no real support on making a "choice", and certainly little access to info, unless they sneak out for it.
OPE08 6 months ago
@QueenieQue yeah you just lost all credibility when you called the mormons a cult.
getdownto311 6 months ago
@getdownto311 Good. I would hope that a Mormon would find my view not credible, otherwise I wouldn't be expressing my perspective properly enough. However, just so you know, most respected theologians consider Mormonism to be a cult. And, so you know that I'm not discriminatory, I find all religion to be untruthful and delusional. But Mormonism is paradoxically stupid and sinister.
QueenieQue 6 months ago
@QueenieQue how is ti stupid and sinister how did you come to that conclusion such outrageous nonesense??,theologians dont get to define who we are despite being "qualified" on the subject of religion, you just shot yourself in the foot here "so you know that I'm not discriminatory" "But Mormonism is paradoxically stupid and sinister" your a liar!
getdownto311 6 months ago
@QueenieQue oh really?? how in the hell is it sinister?
getdownto311 1 month ago

MrRegMackworthy 8 months ago
@MrRegMackworthy So then you only want an atheist president? Good luck with that.

I hope one day we evolve past the point of cave man superstition and have nothing but Athiests on this planet. It will be a much better place.
MrRegMackworthy 8 months ago
@MusicCoversPlus because what you believe effects how and what you do. It's great that "mormons are good people", but history has shown time and time again that Religion is the one thing powerful enough to make a good man do evil.
I care because I don't like the idea of a man who thinks "colored skin" is a mark from god, or believes in a book that says slavery is okay and homosexuality is to be punished by death via stoning running the country I live in.

@MrRegMackworthy its ironic that a jackass named mrresmacworthy, doesnt know shit about the mormons so he has to put his own spin to it,your a piece of shit!
getdownto311 5 months ago
@getdownto311 First off shit for brains, my name is MrRegMackworthy, not "mrresmacworthy". And if you wanted to call me a piece of shit, you should have used "you're" not "your". And lastly, I know more about the Morms than most. So now that we've established you're a dumb fuck. Lets move on to the dumb fuck religion of Mormanism. How about the "prophet" running several miles with gold tablets that would have weighed 200lbs. Care to defend that action? How about the magic underwear?
MrRegMackworthy 5 months ago
@MrRegMackworthy HAhahahahaha! so what do you know more than me?enlighten me if you will, really what business is it of yours to find out what kind of underwear people are wearing you perv! your a creeper!
getdownto311 5 months ago
@MrRegMackworthy hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaha! What a moron. In fact Joseph record that he walked most of the way, and ran a short time, and rested multiple times. Got get your tripe somewhere else. Same thing with your magic underwear. Yes Mormons wear white underclothing that equate to a white undershirt and white briefs in style, with special meaning but they don't thing they're magical. You antis are all the same. Idiots tricked by such easy to see lies.
PierzStyx 4 months ago
@PierzStyx That's fucking rich. A morm calling anyone an idiot who has been tricked is indeed high comedy. Okay wise guy, where are those golden tablets that good ole Joe carried all that way? Can we take a look at them today? Surely that would qwell all the doubters. Why not put them on display? Hum? I'm going to start my own religion too where I can fuck a bunch of other peoples wives and everyone belives all my lies no matter how fucking stupdi they are. No taxes is a perk too.
MrRegMackworthy 4 months ago
@MrRegMackworthy You're so foolish. I know what happened to the plates. Joseph was always clear about that. And he wasn't the only one to see them 3 others saw the angel and were given the plates directly by him. 7 others were shown the plates directly by Joseph to see. His wife Emma picked them up and felt them. Another lady was shown them by the angel herself in response to her sacrificing for the Prophet. And in the end God took them again to Himself.
PierzStyx 4 months ago
@PierzStyx It really is amazing because the same thing happened to me. The other day a platinum set of plates fell from the sky. I'm the only one who saw it and it was in a strange language no one could read except me. It said everyone in the world should give me $10. So far no one belives it. I guess the problem is the tablets magically disappeared when "God" took them back. I guess he needed something to read on the toilet.... Go figure.
MrRegMackworthy 4 months ago
@MrRegMackworthy Except Joseph had 12 others who saw the plates directly. 3 saw the Angel Moroni himself and were given the plates by him to read and hold and see. 7 others were given the plates directly by Joseph & did the same. 1 other was shown the plates by Moroni and held them and turned the pages all by herself. At least 20 others who felt and lifted them, even feeling the separate pages while they were wrapped up. None, even those who left the church ever denied it. Can you say the same?
PierzStyx 4 months ago
@PierzStyx No I can't say that. But then again, I have not started my cult yet. And I don't talk to magical tablet wielding angels that no one else can see. I also don’t receive magical eggs from the Easter Bunny. How about this, next time you're talking with Moroni, tell her to show me the plates too. I'd love to see them. Do we have a deal?
MrRegMackworthy 4 months ago
@MrRegMackworthy None of that matters though. You wouldn't know they were anymore true today if they existed. You wouldn't know just by looking at them if Joseph had really translated them. You wouldn't know any better than you can know now. If you had them you'd still say the Book of Mormon was made up even if he was using a real ancient text he found somewhere to back up his "story". The book's truth doesn't hinge on their presence, it hinges on if it is from God. It is and that is the truth.
PierzStyx 4 months ago
@PierzStyx God damn, you religious wackos kill me. It’s so fucking funny how you quickly get infuriated when someone questions your particular line of bullshit. You fervently defend good ole Joey Smith and his harem with the magical disappearing tablets. On the other hand, if you were asked about Mohammed and his rag head line of bullshit, you'd call it crazy. You are weak minded fools who are afraid of death. You need a fairy tale to assure you things are going to be alright for you.
MrRegMackworthy 4 months ago
@MrRegMackworthy Except you'd be wrong. LDS recognize that one can be inspired by God without being called to exact prophethood. I have no problem believing Mohammed had legit spiritual experiences that he recorded in what became the Koran. There is a lot of truth there. That is why people flock to the religion founded from his writings. If you're best argument is simply to spew hatred almost incoherently and ignore valid points then you're the weak minded one, not me. I know the truth.
PierzStyx 4 months ago
@PierzStyx Mohammed the dune coon didn't write or record anything. He was illiterate. So since you know the truth and have a direct line to "God", do me a favor. Have God contact me. He's swept up greater sinners than me, surely he can spare a moment to speak to me. Okay? I'll be waiting with an open heart and ears.
MrRegMackworthy 4 months ago
@PierzStyx How do you "know" this is the truth? Do you talk to God? If your answer is yes, then you're lying and or crazy. More likely you were born into Mormonism and your parents trained you? You accuse me of incoherent spewing of "evil". But when you’re pushed for proof aka coherence, you religious lunatics fall short. You start incoherently yammering on about fairy tales that have no basis in reality and cannot be proven. How dare you to accuse me of being incoherent, you hypocrite.
MrRegMackworthy 4 months ago

PierzStyx 4 months ago

MrRegMackworthy 4 months ago

MrRegMackworthy 3 months ago
@MrRegMackworthy who says I'm a Christian? It merely offends me that you attempt to argue with folks on the basis that they're ignorant and less than intelligent... and you can't spell a simple term! Hope I didn't hurt your poor little simpleton feelings! :)
asglo17 3 months ago
@asglo17 Now asglo, you know that to deny christ is the only un-forgivable sin, right? If you're a christian, which I'm sure you are, you'll want to be very careful with phrases like "Who says I'm a christian?" You wouldn't want you to end up in hell with me, would you? And by the way, you're supposed to capitalize the first letter of a sentence. You failed to do that. I'm just giving some simpleton punctuation advice. Also, if you're attacking someone's grammar, make sure yours is perfect.
MrRegMackworthy 3 months ago
@MrRegMackworthy, since your name is actually the subject of address in my sentence, it would be foolish to re-capitalize the second word! You are correct, I should have had a comma. I apologize. And you were SO close! It's actually the Holy Spirit (some religions say "Holy Ghost") who you can't be forgiven of denying. But I got your meaning, so I'll give you credit for trying! One day maybe you can be a big boy and have no factual errors at all! :)
asglo17 3 months ago
@asglo17 At least you can admit you fucked up your grammar. That's a start. Ever hear of the holy trinity? Its the essential cornerstone of being a christian. If you deny being a christian, ipso facto you have denied the holy spirit. I know its hard for someone who bases their entire life around Bronze Age superstitions to expand their horizons and draw objective conclusions. However, you must try if you're going to continue to pretend to be an intellectual. Perhaps you should pray about it? lol
MrRegMackworthy 3 months ago
@MrRegMackworthy don't forget, not all Christians believe in literal oneness of the trinity. Research it and let me know what you find! But really don't... because you have got to go live your life! You only have 60 or so more years (I assume you're a teenager) before you fade into blackness and cease to exist (according to your beliefs)! Since I have eternity, I can AFFORD to waste time talking to the likes of you on YouTube... But you good sir... Go live life! It's short (well, for you)! :)
asglo17 3 months ago
@asglo17 Indeed, life is short. I only have about 35 years left according to your estimates. I have better things to do than dwell on the minutiae of fairy tales. The great thing about you wackos is when you die, you'll never know the difference. You'll die, nothing will happen and you will have never known. As for me, I cannot live in such willful ignorance and I'm not motivated by fear. But don't let me stop you from wasting your existence following a mega cult. I’m sure ignorance is bliss.
MrRegMackworthy 3 months ago
@MrRegMackworthy Not true. It is true black people weren't allowed to serve in the Priesthood. But they were still baptized and allowed exaltation in Heaven. They aren't there as "slaves" but as equals, even before 1970 when the Priesthood was extended to everyone worthy male. The LDS Church has historically always been against slavery. There is no genocide in the Bible. Yes many people die in wars, even entire cities. But that is not genocide, and neither is it murder since it was warfare.
PierzStyx 3 months ago
@PierzStyx 1 Samuel 15:2-3 This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘I will punish the Amalekites for what they did to Israel when they waylaid them as they came up from Egypt. 3 Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy[a] all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.’”
MrRegMackworthy 3 months ago
@PierzStyx 1 Samuel 15:2-3 is only one of many examples of genocide in the bible. And I'm sure the Jews would disagree with your version of genocide. World War II was a war, and the Nazis committed genocide on the Jews. By your definition, they didn't. Then there was the time with "god" killed everyone on the planet except noah and his magical boat. And who could forget the loving story of "god" killing all the babies in Egypt. What a loving "god" indeed.
MrRegMackworthy 3 months ago
@PierzStyx Oh, so murder is okay in warfare? What's the definition of warfare? Is that where "god" tells you to go slaughter a bunch of people because they didn't agree with your religion? Because that's how the bible defines it. I'm sure you have different definition and I'd love to hear it. When is it okay to murder? Please give an example. Was it okay when you morms dressed up like Indians and killed all those baptist men, women and children in the Mountain Meadows Massacre?
MrRegMackworthy 3 months ago
@MrRegMackworthy You show a classic anti-religionist's lack of knowledge about the Bible and history. Yes, some Mormons once did kill some people, and their leader was caught, stood trial, and was executed. If that's all you got then its laughable. Every group has bad members in it, but that doesn't make the entire group evil. Again your attempt to condemn all LDS by the actions of a few over 100yrs ago shows bigotry. Bet you think all Germans are Nazis & all black people belong in jail too.
PierzStyx 3 months ago
@PierzStyx You didn't answer the fucking question, did you Jr? You brought up Nazis and black people in jail? Seriously? Is that your way of dodging my question? Once again, when is murder okay? Millions and millions of people have been murdered in the name of religion. I'm asking you when is it okay? Don't reply back with anything else. Especially something as intentionally off point as freaking Nazis. Maybe you should pray about it and tell me what "god" says to you.
MrRegMackworthy 3 months ago
@MrRegMackworthy Perhaps you don't know how to read or you comprehension is low. My post 1 wk ago answered your question before you even asked it. Murder is never ok, but killing in warfare is not murder. As for "millions of deaths" by religion, let me enlighten you to some facts. Secularism killed 12 million by Nazis, 50-78 million in USSR, 45 million in China, 2 million by Khmer Rouge. That's over a billion people within 40yrs secularism has murdered, and that is only naming the famous ones.
PierzStyx 3 months ago
@PierzStyx I should amend this to say "100 million", not "billion". Typing error that I didn't catch.
PierzStyx 3 months ago
@PierzStyx God damn you're slow, it took you one week to come up with that? Pathetic. Let me dumb it down for you Junior. Don't dodge the fucking question for the 4th time with more erroneous statistics. What is the difference between warfare and murder? Obviously its a state of war, but what decides that state? According to the genocide in the bible its when a group angers "god" all mighty. BTW, Hitler was a christian and all those regimes you named didn't kill in the name of secularism.
MrRegMackworthy 3 months ago
@MrRegMackworthy Hitler wasn't a Christian. He was raised as one, loosely, but stopped attending church long before he ever serve in WWI. By the time he became Fuhrer he had renounced religion and embraced science as the basis of Nazi ideology. Darwinian evolution was the basis for his idea that the German people could become a master race if they eliminated all the weaker races they breed with, much like you breed dogs and horses.
PierzStyx 3 months ago
And again there isn't any genocide in the Bible. Genocide is the deliberate extermination of an entire race based on their race identity. Not once does that happen in the Bible. Perhaps if you stopped listening to other people and read the book for yourself you'd know that. Do the world a favor and develop your own opinions instead of parroting back the hateful idiocy that you've been told. Think for yourself.
PierzStyx 3 months ago
@PierzStyx What the fuck ever moron. You're like talking to a robot. Exactly whom is it that told me there was genocide in the bible? It was me, I read the god damned thing 4 times over before I was 12 years old. Don't tell me to think for yourself, when you're in a mother fucking cult. I get so tired or moronic bullshit like yours. How about you do the world a favor and think for yourself. Quit that fucking cult that programs you and form your own ideas.
MrRegMackworthy 3 months ago
Your argument is the last resort of a weak mind. I present cohesive statements, and even FACTS. All you do is rail against me but never presenting any facts to back up your claims. I'm not the one being controlled here, or a "robot". You're the 1 who keeps repeating the same false claims. B/c you said so is not a reason to believe you. You already admitted your ignorance about LDS I find your claim about reading the Bible suspect as well. And I'm certain you never read it seeking understanding.
PierzStyx 3 months ago
@PierzStyx Okay, you're right. I want to join up. I'll have to cancel with the Easter Bunny first. When I'm done I'll call you. You don't call me. K. Tell jesus, all the unicorns and other imaginary creatures I say hello next time you talk to them. Fuck off.
MrRegMackworthy 3 months ago
You can't see that what you hate in religion isn't religion, its the weakness of humanity, its brokenness showing through. People can and do use anything from religion to science in order to justify their evils. But it is neither the fault of science or religion that people act evilly. What your anti-religion blinders do is blind you to all the good religion actually does do in the world. Read the book "American Grace". It is a book reporting on a study done that shows this very fact, and more.
PierzStyx 2 months ago
And everyone I named killed because they were secular, often aiming directly at those who were religious. Nazi Germany, the USSR, and Red China are all perfect examples of this. Religion was a threat to their power since it made people trust in something other than the state, so they exterminated religion, or tried to do so. Millions on millions on millions literally died because the atheists felt threatened by faith. Also, I noticed u changed topic there. Afraid your ignorance about LDS showed?
PierzStyx 3 months ago
@PierzStyx Who gives a shit, here's what I know about the LDS. It was invented by a con man who had very poor writing skills. Here's what I know about you. You're fucking dumb enough to devote your entire life to it. I'm done done talking with a simpleton who thinks jesus the magical jew came over to visit the native americans. I think I will go talk to someone who believes the tooth fairy is real and bases their financial future upon getting money under their pillow.
MrRegMackworthy 3 months ago
@MrRegMackworthy So you admit you don't know anything about the LDS? Then on what grounds do you have any right to criticize? What facts do you have to back up your opinions? What knowledge informs your views? If all you have to go on is your ignorance and anger, then why should anyone ever listen to you? How can you even know it was "invented by a con man" if you've never studied it yourself? You can't. You know nothing sir, and thank you for admitting it.
PierzStyx 3 months ago
As for you, I can see this is at an end. And that is good. I apologize for my anger and jerkiness. I hope one day you're able to let go of the hate in your heart. Its poisonous and destructive. If in person you're anything like you are on here, then I fear it already has poisoned your life in some truly sad ways. I hope one day you will be humbled enough to come to Christ and build a relationship with Him and be healed. He is real. He loves you. I know its true and hopefully one day so will you.

@DIXON011M
a world of faith?

Adopting a child from a foreign country requires a lot of faith

What a lousy response! Seriously? Those aren't examples of faith. They are reasonable expectations based on past experiences. Don't you understand the difference?
Apparently not.

@TheKinderhookPlates Starting your own business takes a big leap of faith. Listen you can think what you want, its fine but the reality is we have faith in so many things in this world today. You don't see it as faith but that is exactly what it is.

@DIXON011M
