There was a show on BBC2 I think it was, where a guy used to talk about old tools and I think this is based on it (of course without the swearing :D ). I'd love to know what that old show was called... anyone remember it ?

They did used to have all these regional programmes with these country types that were a bit eccentric ....what they've done is make them even madder with all their afflictions etc : - ) )

This is one of my favourite sketches ever. I've watched it countless times and always descend into uncontrollable laughter... and i'm 33 years old.

Masses of people have seen it a lot more than 4 times and think it's great.

The fast show is an iconic tv show. If you don't like it why the hell are you bothering to watch it on youtube.

Comedy comes in many forms and this is not the intellectual sort as argued above. But silly, "childish" humour does not need to be explained. It's just funny, if you can stop being pretentious for a minute. This reminds me of the website b3ta which captures this spirit of pure sillyness, which I hope to still appreciate into my old age (I'm 22).

For some reason in their first appearances with Bob Fleming, Clive Tucker and Jed Thomas's names were swapped. I think starting off, Jed Thomas was the sneezing guy, and Clive was the "ARSE!" guy. I have no idea why they swapped those names around later on.
