@AmericanPitbulls1 Those that are Deaf and use phones have a device called the TTY, (Not sure what the Y part stands for but the TT stands for Text and Telephone) , an operater is in the middle of the phone, and say you were to call a dentist, the Deaf person would call, text what they wanted to say to the Dentist, then the operator speaks what the person is writing down. When the Dentist responds, operator writes it to the Deaf person. Please correct me if I'm wrong!
If you are deaf how do you work a phone does anyone know other than letters how would you hear a person on a phone but not a firealarm
